How About Video Downloads For Airgun Maintenance

The is a wide range of airgun owners which may or may not want to perform their own airgun repairs or maintenance. I think for a start it is nice to know how your airgun functions and how it is put together. It would be nice if you wanted to do your own work to have a video to download with the parts list, tools needed and video of how to work on your rifle. I watched this video by AOA doing maintenance on a FX Indy and it was pretty detailed. I don't like to wing it doing things like this but if I had a good video I'm sure I would tackle a project. How many of you out there would purchase a download on how to do maintenance on you rifle and what would you want to pay. For me a cost in the $20 to $30 would be reasonable. If you have time to watch the AOA video maybe any suggestions to make it better would be nice. I might end up shooting off a email to AOA to see if they would be interested in doing these video downloads. Bill

Ginuwine I just went and checked out Ernest and Matts channels and Matt has a couple of videos and Ernest touches on certain aspects of only a few makes of air rifles. I would like to have a total how to for a particular air rilfe on all aspects of maintenance. And while I know Ernest and Matt know what they are doing there are a lot of people on the internet that don't. It would be nice to me seeing a maintenance video coming from factory trained people of all makes of rifles a company like AOA sells. Bill

We decided to do this series as support for the product. Therefore we made it free on YouTube to make the videos accessible for most. We file each under the Airgun Repair playlist on our channel where we continue to add new videos as time allows. If you aren't subscribed to our channel, please do...https://www.youtube.com/user/airgunsofarizona

Here are the latest repair videos covering some of the Daystate products:

And we have more on the way! Thanks for watching! Drop us an email if you would like to see a particular service or repair. We are always open for feedback.

These videos are a great idea. I'm sure there are lots of folks like me who don't feel comfortable taking something apart. But with a video may decide to take the plunge and do it ourselves. Saves money sending it back in to get it done, saves you all at AOA the avalanche of things to do, and helps overall with folks understanding their air guns. Good work!

AOA thanks for responding to my post. I am subscribed to your channel and your repair videos are very good but of course I would like to see more. It is also great you have decided to offer them free on you tube. I have my first FX rifle on order from you a Verminator Mk2 and hope to get it soon and want a FX Wildcat too in the future.. It would be nice if your time allowed to see a new video come out every one to two months. If a total breakdown and maintenance of a particular model and make of a airgun was not possible, maybe a repair for the most common problem. Thanks for your support of the airgun community. Bill

Ditto!

Your video is good but the real concern is the replacement of O-ring. This being the number one nemesis to air gunner's, they will go bad as a nature of the beast. Likewise a parts list for the bobcats as we have two models out there in service. What we have is like buying a Ford Cobra GT and they give you a Pinto manual saying all our cars are similar. I bet you wouldn't be happy with that one.
