Horrible results with Benjamin Pellets

Try the Crosman label. They are different even if they physically look the same.

HW95 in 22 the 175 count tins of Crosman Pointed and 14.3gr Premier Ultramags domes and 14.3gr Premier Hollowpoints from Wal-Mart.

Show us a group from the same gun, this time with good pellets. Does it shoot anything well? 

Believe it or not many of my guns prefer the cheap Wal-Mart CPHPs and the 14.3gr Crosman pointed in the 175 count tins especially my HWs and RWS-Dianas and even Air Arms springers in 22 caliber.

The .22 Weihrauch barrels run big. And Benjamin's/Crosmans in the tins aren't usually on the big end. 

If you really want to try the Crosman pellets, the ones in the box are very good pellets. No parting lines or inconsistency and slightly bigger head size. They are my favorite pellets ever in .177. 

And the Crosman in the tins are the same as the Benjamin in the tin. I've had parting lines and junk pellets in both, and measured both with a $600 LeadHead tool and they were the same undersized inconsistent pellets. If you get a tin without the parting lines, you can sort them and maybe get great results. I never had the patience, and would rather pay the premium for the boxed ones.

The boxes ones are a whole different animal. 

The brown boxed ones are only offered in 177 and in 7.9gr and 10.5gr. The 22 and 20 calibers have been discontinued. The 14.3gr Crosman pointed in the 175 count tins seem to have better QC than the CPHPs which they should be since they cost significantly more.

I hear you on the pellet shortage thing! 

I ordered some .177 JSB 8.4gr from AoA the other day and I asked if they had any and he said "we have plenty". So they may have what you need? 

Crosman pellets are generally pretty bad. Hy hw does not like them, my lothar walther does not, my fx does not. My TJ .218 barrel Loves them.

I've only tried benjamin pellets in 25 cal. Very hard pellets, my gun (spa pp800) did not like them at all. Shoots jsbs nearly hole in hole

Have you tried their better QC 14.3gr Pointeds?

Those give me one hole groups from my Theoben Rapids and FX Tarantula at 50 yards and RWS 54 and 56th just slightly larger just to name a few and they think they are the 14.3gr brown box Premiers in 22.

My 22 HW97K shoots them the best tested in that gun.

I will probably not buy Crosman again as the variability in diameter size is too great for consistency. My first 3 cans of HP were really good, but now it is hit and miss. I probably have 3k of lame pellets now baha

I forogt my sortie likes them too! But you are correct about the head size. If you want to get rid of them, let me know. But at ~ $5.50/500, might not even be worth it to ship them, lol.
