Man that is a gorgeous view. Morgan Freeman's voice could do a narration over that scenery and I would fall asleep like a baby. Awesome post, I am envious.

Do not typically have deer on my range, but the other day I was squeezing and was within micro seconds/micro inches of firing when this red blob appeared perfectly aligned in my scope.

Shooting Sunday at my local Izaak Walton League range and I look up from loading my Mrod mags to see a Red Fox laying nonchalant about 60 yards out on the 100-yard lane. This was while two guys were shooting a .223 over on the 25-yard lane. The fox just lays there unconcerned, motionless at first and then licking a paw for a moment. I flag the guys with the .223 and point out the fox, we all just stare for 30 seconds or so, and then Mr. Fox gets up and saunters off behind some of the earthen berms at the end of the 25 & 50-yard lanes. One of the other shooters chuckles and says, "Ballsy little guy, ain't he." True dat.
