Home made EBR like target (close ish)

There was some discussion on the EBR target recently and since I have more time than money these days, I rebuilt a target using the measurements on the EBR site. I was a little motivated. I missed a little but….

The ‘printtargets’ tool on the web is in MM so I had to convert the EBR info to MM and even then round them off a little. I came close but will re-tweak them a little on my next attempt. I only went to the 7 ring so I could fit 6 ‘full size’ targets on an 8.5x11 sheet. The outer rings are oversized by as much as 3mm. Honestly, that’s close enough for me but not for competition scoring, home vs EBR competition. Simple print scaling might be enough, maybe…

So EBR is 25 targets 1 shot per. I’ve been using 1 6 target sheet and shooting each target 5 times, using the lower right as the sighter target. And, shooting the 5 ‘scoring targets’ once each then the next and rotating through them until I have 5 shots on each.

I’ll share the .pdf in this thread after I try one more time to get a little bit closer.

Here is one of my first attempts on target, at 75y. I didn’t even try to hold for the shifting winds. I need a few more days before I get my 100 target box set back up. We planted trees and I had to move my dirt berm/backstop for that. I just need another trip to HD and a couple hours for the rebuild in a better spot.

As with most of my targets, there is no bragging here, I’m not a great shot. But I was pretty happy with this one. I will definitely need a wind flag to at least identify the direction of the wind!!! I shot other targets but only ‘scored’ this one. Scoring was all visual. No plug and again the outer rings are a couple MM oversized. Wind errors cost me at least 4-5 points. And yes, I set the targets up Sat night, then did fireworks (and enjoyed the party), then shot first thing Sunday morning but it rained so the target I shot aint pretty.

Note, I've already resized the the outer rings but I'm out of ink. I need to print one and measure then I'll post the .pdf tomorrow.
