Hilarious newb question about double co2 clip

So I have a couple decent break barrels, and just for fun I got a fully auto crosman AK1. Really fun so far, but there’s one issue, only one of the cartridges cracks at time lol. The clip fits two cartridges, but on the “left,” the size of the port leading to the green knob is a little different, and it isn’t cracking like the one on the right. I mean, this is t a storage space, right? Both sides are supposed to power the gun, yes?? Lol. I might need a new clip for this fun bb gun, which works ok even with only one cartridge cracked, but yes runs out very quickly. 


Any suggestions? 
 
I have a Crossman DPMS that is similar. It always pierced both cartridges until the last time I used it then it only pierced one of them. I haven’t shot it since that. I knew something was wrong when it ran out of CO2 quickly.Must be a common problem with them. It’s marked on the magazine to pierce one of them first before the other. I don’t remember which one it is supposed to be Pierced first. I’m assuming yours is supposed to be the same way. Later I bought a umarex MP40 Which I like the way it works better. I had the same problem with it only piercing one of them too And the company sent me a new piercing cap and it works fine now.But the MP 40 Stacked one cartridge on top of the other. Which the Crosman is side-by-side. I’m assuming yours is the same way.If it’s not that old and you can’t get it to work right , call Crosman and they probably will send you another magazine.Mine is past the five year warranty now.
