High quality flip-up scope caps?

O gooood!! 😄

I have been worrying about how to use my money wisely. And the Aadland scope caps have come to my rescue!

ONLY $99.95 for a pair of scope caps! That's what I call a bargain. A good investment. Money spent wisely.

Just like some of my other recent purchases (that I will eventually end up in the dog house for):

▪Like the scope that cost three times as much as the rifle.

▪Or the Buy-2—Get-0-free special when I bought not 1 but 2 chronos.

▪Or that can of 100 RWS pellets (24.7gr) for which I shelled out $6.60. The thrift bug really bit me when I saw this tub of 350 Hatsan pellets for $27 (almost 8c a shot).

My goodness!! 🙄

If you don't like the price then don't buy them. The poster gave information that some might want to pursue. My goodness exactly.

The Monstrum rubber covers are exactly the same as the Vortex rubber covers, but at half the price. The best way I’ve found to source the correct size is to go on Monstrum’s website and use their chart, then if you are a prime member get them thru Amazon. Amazon doesn’t give the sizes but instead call out I believe a letter in reference to the size. It can lead to accidentally buying the wrong one.

Another tip, of say as an example you measure your eyepiece or objective end and it come out to 2.34”, and Monstrum says model A is for scopes is for 1.875 to 2.33”, while model B is for 2.34” to 2.875”, get the model A for the tighter fit. Rubberized scope covers stretch over time, so it’s best to order them as tight as possible, within reason.

Nothing wrong with the Butler creeks, but what made me change over is the hinges on these rubber type covers are beefier than the Butler creeks. I got tired of ripping off the snap covers every time they caught up on a suspender or belt loop, etc. when I hoisted up the rifle with the covers accidentally left open.
