I'm late but yeah Beaumont's are really nice, and start at 5K new.
I'm buying all Lilja barreled Scandalous rifles made by John Bowman. My first one is a .257 but I already know I want a .338
John is making .52 caliber Hailey Boomers for Whitetail woods hunting.
He can make you two rifles with Lilja barrels for roughly/estimated $4400 & shipping
This is his .338 short barrel Hunter. He can put a .50 on any way someone wants, long for targets or shorter for hunting.
Notice barrel is free floated & finely threaded into receiver 3.5". He set this at 200 ftlbs with a 165 grain slug for superior accuracy. It can go a lot higher on HPA, or Helium if desired.
Good for up to 225's in .338. A .50 would be nice at 400ftlbs for deer, hogs, or long range. These are all Helium capable but when he set them at high power, too many folks have a hard time hitting stuff. He'll set em up anyway a buyer wants.
