I am referring to my new FX Impact .25 cal in silver and as in the horse in the old 'Lone Ranger' cowboy tv show. The difference will be when I am shooting my new set-up I will be looking to be the ' Long Ranger' shooter at times at least. I gravitated to using the .25 cal instead of the .22 cal. in general just because of the idea of bigger hole more knock down and more down range power. I had been shooting my FX Crown in .25 cal. 700mm barrel with slugs but it is such a long rifle to move around and carry in the field. Plus the idea of having the Impact with the power plenum to speed up and use more weights of slugs is more appealing too. Yesterday I adjusted the rifle to shoot the NSA 29.0 grain DB which shoot great in the Crown. The video shows today's accuracy testing results and what shot well after all. Still need to do some fine tuning but plan to do a little pesting tomorrow and checking the b.c.. Bill
