hi guys please can someone help ive changed my reg in my fx crown to extra high pressure huma reg and a ernest rowe hammer mod kit but not sure best way to set this up and what to set reg too i believe set reg to say 160 then wind hammer in fully shoot and back hammer off a turn then shoot and repeat until you see sweet spot but i did this today and theres not much change please advise thanks

I'm afraid you're going to have to slow down and explain your entire setup to us if you want useful tuning advice. Without knowing your caliber, ammunition, desired velocity, etc I really don't know where to start.

Ye sorry there im using fx crown .30 with 50.15 gr pellets im unsure what the best fps i should aim for so would like to know this then i can set reg to whatevers needed and adjust hammer

I believe the general consensus from people who've tried both report better accuracy from the 44.75 grain pellets compared to the 50.15. That said, you'll probably want to be slinging them somewhere between 850 and 900FPS. (guessing) The real trick of tuning is to find your gun's natural harmonics so you'll want to set your gun up to shoot much hotter, say in the 950ish range, and then shoot groups while slowly dialing back the power until you find the velocity the results in the most consistent groups. From there you can tune your gun to run optimally in that power range. (that was a bit of an oversimplification, but I think is a reasonable way to start)

Great what deviation should i expect between shots
also i want to keep reg low enough so i still get good shot count so cant i set reg to 165 then adjust hammer until its at the correct fps and then tweek until my deviation is low enough
