hi can anyone explain whats wrong with my impact mkii I took a shot and there was a bang at the probe end then all air dumped out of barrel so fully stripped down and checked all rings and there fine so regressed and back together re gassed gun up works ok for say 20plus shots then same again anyone else had this , im guessing but sounds like valve stem isn't re seating any help please

I wish I knew more about the Impact - But I just got mine recently..
The same exact issue actually happened though with a different high-end air rifle of mine..
Just like Yo mentioned, a valve seal/seat ended up being the gremlin.
I disassembled, inspected, cleaned, applied a very thin coat of lube, then reassembled..
After that, things were a-okay!
Hopefully that's all it is. I know how Extremely Frustrating this sort of thing can be!

I will 3rd that being the poppit as the culprit. Sorry to hear your new expensive toy dumped on you. Good luck man. When I modified the valve on my 22 I had something similar happen but I forget to put back the ring lol.

Check to see if there is air releasing from the small hole next to the safety. You would need to connect a fill source to check.

Don't hold your breath waiting on Fx! I'm still waiting on a call back on a issue that had over a month ago that I sent off to get repaired instead of waiting.

If the air is coming out of the barrel, it is definitely the valve seat like others have mentioned. Been there, done that. It is a fairly easy fix though.

Whats the easy fix then haha , ive had gun fully in bits again and theres no debris or any thing bad all looks ok as it should , my mkii has the machined valve seat so cant remove this But looks ok , something tells me the front valve spring doesnt have the power to push valve in place but im just guessing now seems to do it more when on line 4 than on 3

If it’s a Power Plenum you may have a poorly machined valve. You might look at the valve seat area very closely.

yup emailed them no reply yet lol im kind of thinking do I just buy myself new valve housing and stem too save all agro sending back but then when I spend like £1800 on a gun I shouldn't have to

Well, as much as I agree that high end air guns shouldn't be coming off the production lines with so many quality control issues, I'll also state that money doesn't buy everything, and that includes a guarantee that the product you're paying said money for is worth more than its weight in salt.
