"Rodeo"Fx now having their own repair and distribution facility here in the States might be another concideration for you. I have not looked; who in US repairs Weihrauch?
So, apparently FX needs a repair center. ...
I am also on the Dutch airgun forum; luchtbuks.net and the amount of FXs that I see passing there with issues is just unreal. I know of several European guns stores that do not stock FX for this reason.
Look here for example:
http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.asp?cat=Air%20Rifles&SubCat=FX%20Air%20Rifles (look for the impact)
https://luchtbuks.com/en/fx-ranchero-black (hmm, I wonder why they test them before selling...)
And these are some of Europe' largest airgun dealers.
FX airguns are very accurate when they work well. But their quality control on choice of materials is not the best.
I would spend a little extra money and go for the HW100.
It is way more solid then pretty any FX offering. The HW100 also comes with so many things that the Streamline does not have. Is the streamline even regulated?
The HW100 cylinder has a really good fill system (both quick-fill and directly from a tank), great pressure gauge . The standard Weihrauch silencer is the industry standard. The barrel is semi free floating, which I think all PCPs should have. It has just about the best magazine system out there. It is protected against double loading. The walnut thumb-hole stock is very ergonomic.
The plastic trigger is almost match-grade (I will swap mine for a metal one). If I compare any FX, Air arms, Daystate with the HW100 that is below a €1000, it is a total no-brainer; the HW100.
None of the these brands have the features and the solidness that the HW comes with as standard. I also think that it is more ergonomic and easier to use than the others.
When I bought the HW100, I also had had a look at the BSA super 10. I find BSA quite under rated.
Brands like FX and Daystate are very good at marketing their products, but IMO you can do a lot better for your money!
