Help me decide between the two.

The newest Benjamin Marauder in .177 and .22 comes with a Lothar Walther barrel, among other custom shop choices you can get. Beachwood stained stock too. Stain color looks like Minwax #231, " gunstock" that I use.

Very good quality custom shop rifle. Sorry I can't fid the video in my history? Maybe one of you fellers can help out?

.25 is two powerful for the dairy. Don’t go more than .22. My streamline was a leaker from the get go and two others I know had leakers. I would bet money if you compared 50 rifles of each the weirauch would win with less problems out of the box hands down-yes I would bet money on that. Having said that I have an fx Crown on order. I need the power wheel for my application and I’m willing to go thru the fx headaches to get things sorted. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, honestly. Get the one that feels best to you and aoa should have both to compare. I have a weirauch springer and I like their quality. Forget .25 caliber for quail. Just my opinion and personal experience with both brands. Do more research if you have doubts. I personally like the streamline of the two for what I need

Baker. If hassle free is what you want, almost guaranteed, then buy a gun from a tunner. I got mine from Charlie at GA airguns. He has a great reputation and will stand behind the work. Someone like him, or Ernest Rowe, will go over the gun with a fine tooth comb and dial it in for you. It will be lapped and polished. The reg set where you want it and will not ship to you leaking, etc.
The only drawback may be choice of gun. Charlie has the Kalibrguns and the Vulcans I believe. Mine is a Mini Carbine and is very nice. I don’t know if Ernest is still going to be doing his own thing since he is now with FX. Give him a call or email and see.

"Rodeo"Fx now having their own repair and distribution facility here in the States might be another concideration for you. I have not looked; who in US repairs Weihrauch?
So, apparently FX needs a repair center. ...

I am also on the Dutch airgun forum; luchtbuks.net and the amount of FXs that I see passing there with issues is just unreal. I know of several European guns stores that do not stock FX for this reason.

Look here for example: http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.asp?cat=Air%20Rifles&SubCat=FX%20Air%20Rifles (look for the impact)
https://luchtbuks.com/en/fx-ranchero-black (hmm, I wonder why they test them before selling...)

And these are some of Europe' largest airgun dealers.

FX airguns are very accurate when they work well. But their quality control on choice of materials is not the best.

I would spend a little extra money and go for the HW100.

It is way more solid then pretty any FX offering. The HW100 also comes with so many things that the Streamline does not have. Is the streamline even regulated?

The HW100 cylinder has a really good fill system (both quick-fill and directly from a tank), great pressure gauge . The standard Weihrauch silencer is the industry standard. The barrel is semi free floating, which I think all PCPs should have. It has just about the best magazine system out there. It is protected against double loading. The walnut thumb-hole stock is very ergonomic.

The plastic trigger is almost match-grade (I will swap mine for a metal one). If I compare any FX, Air arms, Daystate with the HW100 that is below a €1000, it is a total no-brainer; the HW100.

None of the these brands have the features and the solidness that the HW comes with as standard. I also think that it is more ergonomic and easier to use than the others.

When I bought the HW100, I also had had a look at the BSA super 10. I find BSA quite under rated.

Brands like FX and Daystate are very good at marketing their products, but IMO you can do a lot better for your money!

"baker6483"I'm also local to Air Guns of Arizona which is where I'll be buying the gun from and they are an FX service center should that gun have any issues if I go with an FX.

Call them and ask them to be sure. I read somewhere that they will not be servicing anymore since the FX USA is up and running. But that may not be so. Either way, call them. If you are local to AoA, that is half the battle won right there. Good luck.

I'll be stopping by AOA later today. I have more money to put down on the gun account so I'll be sure to ask them.

I am am leaning towards the Streamline not only for the adjustable power and weight reduction but there are really no reviews for the HW110 US model.. just the versions that are sold in the U.K. It would be nice to see a review on the US model.
