. for under $600 new or used , what's the best regulated .22 (or even .25) pcp that has a good shot count ? ive been finding time with the .22 walther rotek on sale at a of a ...... and i have missed a good deal or two on a .22 bsa super ten (or more current versions)........i dont want turkish or chinese......... i have even been watching the newer .22 fortitudes...... i have an old walnut .22 disco that i have kept longer than any other airgun in my life. ........but it is much easier to use higher pressures nowdays with these tiny compressors and stuff like this (they have them regged at 1800 psi, too - but i wanted 1200) : https://www.wish.com/product/5a56e27cf34a927d4c2723bb? ................. https://www.wish.com/search/4500%20psi/product/5bf33d8ff696a21aa6c4d7a1?& .................... https://www.wish.com/search/suppressor%20silencer/product/5b962d85706d440f7337f27e?&

. i agree. this is the first thing i ask when one asks for newer airgun when here picking up their dad's old benjamin i have rebuilt. ....and i was going to mention 20-25 ftlbs , but somehow relented. that's the one thing i didnt like about the .22 walther rotek - it's a little shy on power, which translates more into trajectory with me than actual killing force. when i eat wild meats from airgunning, it's dove and cottontail - both really good and easy to clean and cook. if the need arose, probaly skunk and feral cat would be the largest pesting, although i do enjoy grackle population control too much. a .25 cal (or .22) would need 820-850 fps ideally. i wish there were a way to set the regulator a bit higher on the rotek - but actually my old .22 disco shoots the 16 grainers at 780-790 fps and the 13.5 gr jsb's at 835-850 . that damn disco is a very good gun. it began as a .177 bulk co2 rifle. ive sold it and bought it back 3 times now - tank, pump, and the extra-curricular bs that pcp's have to have.. it just seems the cool thing to do nowdays - get a fancy pcp ! i will likely never spend over 1K on an airgun, not even a whiscombe unless i had a way to resell it. but pcp's have taken over in the eight or ten years ive been outta the loop. i live near air force, but never really really liked those guns - all my friends love 'em....hmm....maybe a cometa lynx, huh ? (air force intl). come to think of it, i never see those listed for resale used. - but i like the idea of a regulated bottle gun.....i'm just barely to the 3000 (3600 maybe) psi desire , probably never really want a 300 bar gun.... it's funny how my simple disco just needs 2000 psi for 25 good shots, albeit single shots. it's very quiet with tko and weighs under 7lbs scoped. i just cant imagine mass of death accrued by these nicer pcp airguns - Lord know i have left an eternal wake of dead poop behind me with that dang entry-level pcp. it's like cheating ! i still like european break barrels the best, and springs over struts. - rane on.

i wanna get one of those $40-50 .38L tanks regulated at 1800 psi (fills to 4500 psi) from wish.com and make my own , maybe from mrod , prod , or fortitude parts... i wish i could get a 1200-1400 psi regulated that cheap.. my old walnut disco is still pretty good to me , tho. these pressures you guys are using nowdays are as dangerous as firearms or it seems it would be stressful to work on them, but idk....i have no idea what i'm talking about, which is why i asked for help. i'm considering just being content with 2000-2500 psi ranges i generally use. looks an older .22 disco for sale on brads site now with pump...
