Help.. FX Verminator

My fx verminator was shooting great when I first got it. Almost pellet on pellet at 50 yards with jsbs 18.1. The trigger was set super light It was too light so I took it apart and made a little adjusting. Put it back together and set a target at 20 yards to test the trigger. I was getting almost a 2 inch group! no pellet was consistent. jsbs were it's favorite pellet they have been since I got it. I haven't even shot 1000 rounds through it. What caused this? Do I need to send it in to get it fixed? I'm really sick of these fx guns...

MOD EDIT: Kyler2643, please expand a little more on your titles. I added "FX Verminator."

Excuse me? You elect to tear the gun down that was shooting quite well to adjust the trigger and now because it's not shooting well the whole line of FX weaponry is poope? That's RICH. Could it be you did something incorrectly? I wasn't aware FX triggers have to be torn apart to be adjusted.

Perhaps if this is the right model, this schematic might help you sort it out. http://www.fxairguns.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Verminator-MkII.pdf

kyler2643. You did not dry fire the gun to empty the air out did you? These things have a removable bottle that can be taken off under pressure. Adjusting the trigger pull has no need to take the rifle apart. So now you need to troubleshoot it to see what was put together the wrong way.

Do a chrony string on the gun. Most likely you are getting erratic velocities so the gun is spraying. Also make sure the barrel is centered in the receiver, with it's transfer port perfectly aligned downward.

MOD EDIT: REMOVED UNNECESSARY BIAS

Kyler2643, I'd get on the phone with AoA first thing tomorrow and tell them exactly what you did step by step and see if they have any helpful advise.
Other than that, it sounds to me like maybe a clipping issue or something else that's not been re-assembled quite right. If it were me, I'd retrace everything I did and make sure I put it back the way it was (except the trigger, obviously). Also, double check that the stock screw was snugged down securely, the scope and mounts are all buttoned down, and the end cap is tight.

Cleared hot - On the Vermy, the trigger adjustments are not accessible without removing the stock. I have the same issue as Kyler and just learned to live with it rather than take the stock off. In fact, I've grown to like it and use it as an advantage! :)
