What is the appropriate caliber and strength

i have the unregulated regal in .22. i haven't chronied it, but the stats claim 30 fpe which i find is more than enough for what i hunt. shooting prone using a bag up front i get nickel sized groups at 50 yards. this weekend i'm going to do a lot of shooting with it at various distances from a proper bench, testing pellets, chronying, and stretching it out to 100 yards just for snicks.

Does the length of the barrel help in shooting at lang range
And does it have a problom with the huma regulator

It all it tied to Regulation set point pressure and available air within the plenum for the actual shot.

Longer barrels generally allow more speed, tho if you don't have the plenum volume to keep supplying air to drive a pellet faster it simply won't !

Huntsmen ARE NOT a magnum PCP and simply don't have the air volume in Storage or Plenum to become one. Valves internal specs are also modest at best for such demands.

IMO ... A .22 cal regulated Huntsman is a 26-28 ft lb rifle and best left right there. If that power range is NOT something you can accept and live with .. buy something else.
