Heliboard vs Daystate programmer?

Jack has been able to sort the Heliboard for the RedWolf HP. 12 fully programable setting. Up graded capacitors. As I understand it’s the pulsar board with some modifications. I have mine installed and it’s all good! High Power setting jumped from 915fps with the original board to 980fps with the Heliboard. That’s with the Redesigned Monsters in .22cal. I’m sure there is potential for more power also. I’m now shooting them on power level 10 at 925fps This has given me a noticeable improvement in accuracy and reinforces the fact that you need the ability to tune this gun. Setting 11 jumps to 960fps I’d like to get them at 940fps

I am still learning about how to adjust the settings and fine tune the shot string as this is my first experience with the Heliboard Its all new to me I haven’t changed any of the stock settings yet

As more people install the board it would be great to get a dedicated tread running on tuning with the Heliboard I know there are some experienced Heliboard users on the forum.

Hi Paul. The board is great. The 12 power settings give you a lot of flexibility. Programming and tuning a shot string takes a bit of time because you do a lot of scrolling through menus with the trigger but it works very well. I haven’t had any problems at all.
You may have seen this video. The process is the same.

A few days ago I asked Daystate if it was possible to set a new .22 Pulsar at 12, 18 & max power when I order it............this was the answer that I just received.

Hello,

The power settings of the .22 FAC are approximately as follows;

H 35

M 30

L 25

It is not possible to have a pulsar with a low power of 12ftlb and then 18ftlb etc as this would require different springs , port holes etc.

Do you experience any problems with the Heliboard on lower power setting, for example between 10 and 20 fp/e ?

Hello , on my .25 redwolf with the helliboard fitted the lowest power preset program is 16ftlbs and the highest is 60-65 ftlbs depending on pellet or slug weight , i have not experienced any problems using the helliboard on low power settings as of yet .

With certain daystate high power rifles the internals would be different to cope with the higher pressures , i know that my redwolf has a hardened hammer but earlier redwolfs didnt ,so therefore the helliboard shouldnt of been ran to high with these rifles else damage could of occured

What daystate do with there factory boards in there electronic rifles is tune them so the 3 settings give the optimum shot count ,balance, and power for a wide band of pellets , but what the helliboard allows is for the user to define these instead,should you want to shoot say a heavy grain pellet/slug for long range or maybe a lighter grain one at a lower power setting for maximum shot count and consistancy

Any more questions mate , feel free to ask
