I talk to Ernest Rowe about his video of the rubber he put on his impact to protect and make the airgun more protective in the woods or hunting and I loved how it looked. It also makes it sound a bit quieter over the moderator and barrial. 


so I went on eBay and found this heat shrink in material that was used in his video the purpose of this material is for fishing poles as a protectant it is absolutely amazing I would recommend anyone to try it out it feels great to hold in your hand and makes it protected as well. On amazon or EBay size for barrel is 28mm or 30mm bottle was 50mm it was very tight fit needed oil to help slip it on the bottle Hope you try it out. 
 
The OP above inspired me to check Ebay and found this. 

CLEAR HEATSHRINK 2:1 TUBE TUBING SLEEVE SLEEVING HEAT SHRINK WRAP CABLE Φ13-80MM

It has sizes from 13-80mm and its CLEAR. It has a 2:1 ratio for shrinking. So a 70mm or 80mm should work. Also, the bottle's markings remain visible because it's clear. May be useful when/if you get it pressure tested. Can also use a 30mm or 35mm diameter size on the shroud to protect it from scratches. Ships from China.

Well guys I finally found a way to get the 50mm wrapping to fit the 580cc carbine fiber bottle. I put some silicone grease inside before I slipped the cover over. It was still a work out but it worked out. So this is my FX impact in .35cal with the 50mm over the Donny Ronin. The barrel does not touch the barrel with covers on see pic for the clearance. The Handel of the FX matches the wrapping looks great. John
