Health has me slowly getting out. That is why I have been a shadow on here.

Due to my health issues not getting any better after my heart attacks and pacemaker I am now slowly and regretfully getting out of shooting airguns including black powder and archery and I have not done anything since spring with my shooting range at my property, I am now slowly starting to sell off items that my wife would have no idea what to do with and my adult children will not use, I do not need them sitting around in safes, they need to be used and enjoyed by folks that will appreciate them.

What it comes down to is I never know how I am going to feel day by day so I can’t make plans like I used to and this last summer has been the hardest for me and if I do have a good day I need to do other things other then shoot.

Anyway I will slowly be posting more airguns and airgun items in the classified section as I sell posted items off, my AV compressor will need to sell before I let my air tanks go. I will hold on to my Marauder .22 and a hand pump that got me started in this hobby/sport other then that it is going to be painfull to let items go.

Jim.

I had several serious injuries then got HCV and before that was over I was assaulted by a stranger and nearly killed. It has taken me many years to get back to being able to shoot my airguns again and it is one of the few things I somewhat enjoy doing these days. Oh, and I really do enjoy driving since I am able to drive once more I feel the freedoms of a teenager again. ;^) I actually feel my best while I am in the drivers seat. It's not in me to ever give up no matter the circumstance I hope it is the same with you and you are able to get rid of enough of the pain both physical and emotional to enjoy life from day to day. Be as active as you can be for as long as you can. I know a couple people that had heart surgery and pacemakers and were given only a short time to live by their doctors they both made it over ten years. To be honest I hurt and feel like crap most of the time but I don't let it get me down cuz it's no fun to go there. My prayers are with you and yours.

Sorry to hear about the trouble Jim, it’s hard to find yourself in that place where big change is in front of you. My son gave me a great book that helped me immensely when I was facing great difficulty. It’s called The Power of Now. By Eckhart Tolle. I was amazed by this book and it has enriched my life greatly. We are all with you brother.

They upped my morphine 5 weeks ago and that seems to help keep the pain down in my neck, shoulders and head and they also switch my AFIB med but anyway I take it real easy and slow now.

I will eventually get a list of what I am willing to let go of now but I need to do it slow, if I get to many things going I will get overwhelmed but I will do my best, I will probably get a full list of items later on.

Thanks,

Jim

Hey Jim, Here’s what I shoot at indoors, it’s a mini pellet trap with a tiny spinner! Really fun and very tough, it will contain my .30 Crown from 15 yards so it’s quite safe for indoors. PM me with your address and I’ll make you one, you definitely need to keep shooting brother. Be as strong as you can and keep moving!!

Thanks dave but I will see what happens, right now it is just better for me to clean house, I might keep my .30 rainstorm but not sure.

Jim, The Power on Now is a great book for sure. I wish you peaceful confidence in the decisions you are now making.
