Headless Chickens

I have a friend ask me what is killing his buddies chickens - its been at night & in four days he's lost 20 out of forty . Something is just chewing the heads off & leaving the rest lay there . I say a racoon they think a weasel my buddy is trying to get me permission for the prop. The guy has a 1000 acers & is rich in crows & starlings I hope he can swing it because it's only 10 min. away. So if anyone has experienced this please chime in . Thanks Darell

Chupa means “suck” Goat Sucker, in my example above “Chicken Sucker”

Have never heard anyone call a jacket “chupa” but, there are a lot of different Spanish cultures and dialects, I don’t know them all.

My Spanish sucks but should of talked to my sister inlaw . Ha got the rest of it off the internet my mistake btw nice shot on the mouse the other day . Darell

I live next to a river. Great Horned Owls living in my trees. Almost every morning I find headless ducks under the trees the owls stay in.

While heading out fishing last year down to the river at 4 in the morning (same area ) that this is located I counted 5 owls sitting on different fence posts in a 1/2 mile stretch . So its a good possilbility .I have to check out what he has going on , are they under cover or just roaming around. Thanks for the reply Darell

Something else that 'might' be a contender for this one..
How about a Fisher? I only Just learned what they were..
Last year, I was photographing wildlife down near a riverbank,
when one swam up to me, then back into the water,
climbed out onto a little 'island', shook off, jumped back in, and repeated..
It was cool, and I kept getting closer and closer to it to get better shots..
I'm not a hunter, so I hadn't seen anything like it before,
shy of people's pet ferrets.. And it wasn't a ferret. That's for sure..
It finally let out these crazy 'screams', and startled the hell outa' me. haha

I showed the photos to my family, and they forwarded one to a friend in the D.E.C.
Dave told us what it was, and warned me not to go near them again..
Apparently they can be nasty little creatures that kill things just to kill em..
