Head sizes H&N Field Target Trophy 22 cal

I’ve been shooting 5.55 head size pellets in my Trail for a long time. I recently ran out and when in town I bought a tin from the local gun shop to tie me over till I order on line. Since useing these pellets my Trail has picked up the accuracy challenge. On the back of the tin at the top of the sticker is H&H Field Target Trophy 5,53500S. Would this be the head size 5.53.

Thanks in advance

Gary

They come in 5.50-5.55 so yes, if it has 5.53. I wish I could buy JSB & Crosman in variations .50-.55. Heck lately I’m lucky if 5.52 are all 5.52. 1/2 usually undersized.

Which is why I’ll probably give up on more retained energy and go with H&N FTT 5.54-5 and size them all down for guns that prefer smaller.

where do you get your pellet sizers

Ebay, Alibaba, Amazon.
I have a guy I use to work for at his bar. He’s also a amazing machinist, Gunsmith, woodworker from hand carved stocks to traditional bows you’d swear were made by a CNC, knives, anything. He got me into air guns but he doesn’t like working on them other than turning barrels for me or stocks. He’s not investing in reg testers and everything else other guys already specialize in.
For example, I’d like a 1/2x20tpi SS Carbon fiber or brushed aluminum adapter ID 0.7535” OD 1.5” 5”L x 1” taper. Doesn’t even need a taper. A 12” long Carbon Fiber 1.75” tapered shroud would be great & I’d pay up to $150.00 from Clague. My friend won’t do anything suppressor related (Even though he knows it’s for an Air Gun only) without paperwork. Not even the adapter. Seems to think guys are going to get in trouble. I think he’s wrong but I understand his license is more important than the $25-40 he’d charge me for one.
So sometimes I need to out source to known suppliers other than friends. GMI Enginnering is excellent to work with. Better than the $68.00 quote I got for what would take someone set up for simple adapter to quiet medium power 18.13’s down 1/2 hour at most.
Bottom line is I wish I’d bought a big lathe & mill in 2011. I’d have fun finding my own fix.
