Head shot

I guess it could be considered as a perfect head shot

Right between eyes from 10 yards

And this one as almost perfect butt shot

Squirrel was running away on top of the tall oak tree

I was 20-25 yards away but squirrel made one deadly mistake

stopped for one second - it was enough to take a good aim...

Shot placement for chipmunks and squirrels doesn't matter that much

Head shot, butt shot... no chance to survive

I'm just surprised how much POI shifts at a short distance, I mean at really short 3-5 yards

Missed couple chipmunks, was hitting way too low

Will have to work on that, usually I zero at 20-25 yards for squirrels

You are right, it's counter intuitive

You would expect completely opposite at the short distance

I'm planning to set up few targets at 3 - 5 - 7 yards and work on may aim point

Often I don't even have time to adjust scope, looking for squirrels 15-30 yards away and suddenly chipper pop ups

Have to move fast, have to train on that more, switching between ranges
