Hawke Sport Sidewinder Tactical 6.5-20X42

If it matters to you if you have a turret that lets you know what rotation you are on then you might not want this scope . I'm pretty sure it doesn't raise up ans down or have dash marks on the turrets so you know what rotation your on .It just rotates in a circle with no way of knowing what rotation your on . Just look into it I might be wrong . I did see that Hawke did copy the locking type turret that sightmark has used on their scopes for years now . If your not using the scope on a springer take a look at the Sightmark core tx 8.5-25x50 (sm13076 MR) for around 289.00 Its their new line of scopes and a next step up from the triple duty scopes they have . the ballisticscenter.com has a photo of the MR reticle. Compared to the hawke scope the sightmark's MR reticle has 7 mildot dashes and 1/2 mildot shorter dashes going all the way down .It has the marks on the turrets and they move up and down so you know what rotation your on. It has a 50 mm objective instead of 42 mm ., 25x instead of 20x . It has the 1/8 moa adjustment instead of the 1/4 moa . The sightmark scope is a little heaver 29 compared to 27.5 but your getting bigger glass .The sightmark scope have a lifetime warranty and are known for there clear class and true tracking on the turrets . Just check out this scope before you get the hawke . You really get a lot of scope for the money a lot more than you do with the hawke . http://theballisticscenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/TBC_Catalog_2016.pdf  .
