Hawke Sidewinder 30 SF question...

Santa brought me a new Hawke Sidewinder 30 SF 6-24x56 and the clicks are so subtle that I can barely hear or feel them when adjusting the turrets. I have a couple of other Hawke scopes (Varmints) that have nice audible/tactile clicks on the turrets so I expected the Sidewinder to be similar.

Can anybody tell me if it is normal for the Sidewinder 30 to be so quiet (both windage and elevation feel the same) or do I have a defective scope?

Mine are the same, and I have a couple of them. Not a problem in my view since I like everything else about them but some may be bothered by the lack of feedback.

Take off the turrets and clean out all the factory grease then relube with lighter grease

A minor issue, IMO. I like Hawke scopes especially how good they range and how good their 1/2 mildot reticles are.

Thank for the input Guys!

I like the Hawke products (have 4 of them) but the softness of the clicks threw me for a bit.

Looking forward to some decent weather to get out shooting.
