Position Overview
Primary responsibility of the Product/Technical Support Representative is to provide warranty support for the entire line of Hawke products. Assure warranty claims are carried out to the highest standards of quality possible to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Hawke products.
- Respond to customer emails and calls, providing accurate and timely answers to their product questions, comments or concerns.
- Manage all aspects of product returns including issuing of RMA’s, logging the warranty details, and issuing credits or replacements as deemed appropriate.
- Provide answers to product questions and assist customers with product selection.
- Resolve customer service problems and work with Hawke personnel to ensure and maintain Hawke’s high level customer service requirements.
- Generate and maintain accurate, timely reports and maintain company records.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years recent experience.
- Sporting goods/firearm industry experience preferred.
- Specific knowledge of sport optics (riflescopes, binoculars, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills to include MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work with hand tools to make minor warranty repairs.
- Solid communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks.
- Solid organization, planning and self-starting skills.
- Career oriented team player with positive attitude.
- Engage and assist with other duties and tasks when other departments require help.
