Hawk Frontier TMX

I should be getting one on Tuesday, the 16th. It's a 5 to30 so the focus is 30 yards instead of 10 on the 2.5 to 15. Will give you as much information as I can but I will be getting new rings. at the end of the week. I now have an air max on my prod so it will be very interesting..I will get back to you asap as I learn how much difference in the two scopes are.Stay warm. Lukedog

I have just bought the Frontier 2.5-15-50 tmx

its stunning. The retical is spot on. Fine and every aim point you need. Build quality is faultless. The glass is as clear as crystal.
Bad bits. The lense covers are naff. If they came with the Airmax flip up ones it would be perfect. You only get one battery. Another Down side. Once you have been looking through it for a few hours and then look through your Airmax you can tell the quality of the Frontier.
Very impressed.

The TMX reticle is absolutely astounding. It's like the H59 reticle I use in competition on my 260 Creedmoor AR-10. It really takes the work out of long range. Sad part is I just bought two Hawke sidewinder 8x32x56 with mil dot. Go figure. With the TMX reticle regardless of where your power is set you can shoot a sighter and watch your POI within the reticle and that will be your Point of aim. Easy

Gargantuan. ALL the above answers are dead on. my 5_30 will just focus down to 28 yards, and at higher power 10 plus it's out just a bit. I am lucky because my back stop is at 28 yards.. only you can decide which to buy. I like the higher power because I have a pond 30 yards away.Thousands of targets in the summer and cans etc. are great on the ice , plus the back stop. Perfect for me. Just love that reticle and the scope. If I can be of any help in the future , let me know..Luckdog

Datagram. Sorry for misspelling your name. This is what happens to someone like me when we get older. I'm 78 and have all kinds of letters in front of my name HDD HDAD you name it. Anyway I am lucky in a lot of ways. Some people never get the chance to get old, plus I have place like this that I can use anytime. If I didn't have this and other places to get information I would not be shooting air guns. What I can't figure out is how I got it so wrong. What I said on my previous post still stands. It is a beautiful scope Thanks everyone for all the work to make this into the best and for all of you for all the help. Thanks again" Gargantuan" Luke dog

LOVE THIS SCOPE! Decided to get the 5x30 copy since the majority of my live targets are beyond 30yds. Since Chairgun Pro has not updated their app I've been using Strelok Pro. I wish Strelok would add a sliding POI adjustment like Chairgun. Anyway here is a snapshot through the reticle. The targets in the background are the champion pop-up targets and are at 50, 75, and 100yds. This was at 8x zoom and I was in a hurry to snap picture before the reticle went out of focus. I was still fine tuning the adjustments of the scope cam with the orion scope mount. Of course with dark backgrounds the small dots to reference windage will be difficult to see. Plus the dots are not illuminated. No big deal since I shoot mainly during daylight, for now. Holdovers were spot on. Adjusting the turrets to the recommended clicks with Strelok Pro were also spot on. I know, I entered my data correctly :) Turning the turrets back to zero was re-confirmed at a 30yd target not seen in the picture. One word!

And just where did you buy the scope. I am being quoted "MONTHS" on backorder!

"Dartagnan"Hawke will be updating Chairgun App. However, Hawke have updated Chairgun for Windows to include the TMX reticle. Can anyone with a Mac confirm they updated please?
I'm not seeing the TMX reticle on my iPhone mobile App yet, but I sure like it! What is your camera setup/ adaptors filming through your Frontier TMX as noted on your hunting video? Wondering if the typical setups for the Hawke Sidewinder would apply here?
