The Hatsan Vectis lever action PCP rifle slings .22 pellets at 1000 feet per second. Here is a close up look as well as some quick Chronograph and Accuracy Testing at 50 yards. Thanks for watching! -Nate

Why the 1000 fps click bait title? I get it, clicks = revenue, but come on...don't join the click bait train. Simply saying 'Hatsan Vectis .22 Review (Lever action PCP!)' is sufficient...the lever action should be more of a selling point than slinging lead at 1000 fps...Your videos aren't bad, and I hope you receive any criticism you get well, because it can and may improve your format. I agree with the music, its a bit over the top, overlaying a sound track with your content isn't that bad, but throwing in slices of videos from your favorite era of music is distasteful IMO...and likely others do as well UNLESS they favor the same era for whatever reason...the reversing of video is fun to play with while editing, but kind of weird when over-done in each video, multiple times, I'd reel that back a bit (not to say to exclude it entirely but...just not in excess)

Shorten your vids or include more quality content, quality content will keep the user coming back for more. 15-20 minutes is good but not when a third of it is slow mo reversed video, sliced in music videos, and filler content such as the intro, the repeating of other videos content or promoting of other videos content...

Just a few tips, I'm not here to hurt you, I share my opinion in hopes to see your channel improve. Keep up the good work, you've proven dedication, just keep at it!

Why do you continue to promote INCORRECT info?

For those novices watching DO NOT use Teflon tape on BSPP connections. BSPP is NOT designed to seal this way.

Bigtin

I've had many fittings delivered to me from Joe Brancato that were put together with what looks to be the white Teflon tape? I haven't used it on my BSPP adapters but don't see what it can hurt as long as you don't get any inside the adapter?

First off it's not CORRECT, and we have a "reviewer" showing guys that it is. The 2nd thing is that DOWDY washer that he's 1/2 taping IS the sealing surface.

It's likely that the fitting you got from JoeB were 1/8npt, and those need tape, or other sealing.

Well I hate to admit it, but the ".22@1000 fps" is what caught my eye. I am not particularly interested in the Vectis. I just started watching your videos and I enjoy them. It just seems that you have a lot of fun and I find that appealing. I also admire people who get in the arena and do something. Keep it up.

Yup!

(...and it's a good thing that I like cats. LMAO!)

Many manufacturers say "1000FPS" and it's B.S. ...Since the Vectis actually shoots 1000 FPS, I thought it was a pretty big deal. Since the video shows the gun on the Chrono at 1000FPS, I'm not sure how that would be considered "click bait".

Also, and I have explained this a few times, air gun videos don't make money. Ted has 500k subscribers. The average Vlogger has 2-5 million subscribers. If I wanted to make money on Youtube I would Vlog daily about my real life..not airguns. ...but I'm not interested in money. I don't do things for money at this point in my life. You may also notice that there are NEVER commercials on my channel. That's because I care more about my viewers than the .00000001 cent I would receive if you watched a whole commercial.

I don't know how to overlay music yet. I should learn it soon. Overlaid music would be way better. I think the extras I throw in take away the monotony of a boring airgun video. ...I realize I walk the fine line between stupid and funny. I do know that my wacky humor makes people laugh on occasion. It's a pretty ugly world out there if you know what's really going on. The chance to smile, laugh, or feel joy, even for a few seconds, is a huge gift. Some of you know what I'm talking about. If you don't, then I guess your lucky. The only thing that will change about my format will be more chrony, longer distance shooting, more explosions, and a bunch of hot girls. Steve is right next door at AEAC if you want "reliable and stable" ...I'm freakin' crazy....(it's funny cause it's true).

P.S. If you want to make money with 10k subs you would print a $20 T-shirt 4 times a year and sell them to your 1000 "hard core" subs. That's $80K a year. You can also charge companies $5-$20k to talk about someone's product for 5 mins at the end of your video if you have 1 million + subs. (The influencer economy) ....sooo...If you have a hobby, political interest, unique pet, special skill, or maybe your just a total A-hole: You can make a living on Youtube. It's super easy and normal people are doing it all over the world...saying goodbye to 9-5 jobs they hate. All it takes to make a good video is your phone and a tripod from the Goodwill. Just point that phone camera at your face and start talking. Do that every day, and you will eventually have 1 million subs. (Vlogging) and you can quit your job. All my videos were filmed with my cell phone. Some of you should look into it. It's awesome what people are doing.

Haha, Me and Home Boy Roy will second that brother! Well said Nate.

Haha, Nate, got my first negative red ball from some butt hurt because I questioned the use of teflon tape????

Says that I " feel the need to promote incorrect information and procedures. "

I try to be friendly on here, but some folks just gotta be haters. Been on here almost 4 years and finally got one. Thanks for breaking my cherry. LOL

Nate, and I stand corrected on the use of teflon tape on a BSPP connection. Heaven forbid we make such a cardinal sin! LOL

Since only one person besides myself seemed concerned about it and didn't find it useful to be of help and lead us to the correct information, I have since found a link explaining the different seals.

https://www.ralstoninst.com/news/story/the-difference-between-npt-bspp-and-bspt-seals

Nate, just out of curiosity I would like to know if your BSPP with the teflon caused you any problems such as an air leak when filling?

Peace and knit picking grease

Hey, I started out using 1/8 NPT long ago because I didn't know the 1/8 BSPP was the proper fitting. With those I had to use alot of teflon tape because it doesn't exactly match up...but very close...with thick tape it works. Now that I am clued in on 1/8 BSPP, I order them 3 at a time from the UK. Tape is probably not necessary but I do it. It seals sooooo good! It's beyond air tight. That one in this video is probably the best Foster fitting nipple I have ever made. Usually I don't even bother with the rubber/metal washer or the plastic white washer on inside. With just tape it works.

Here is the only place I could find a reliable source for quality 1/8 BSPP nipples: Best Foster Fitting 1/8 BSPP Nipples on Earth at a Great Price

P.S. Need a 4500 PSI tank for under $100? Good till 2023$75 SCBA 45 min tank (hurry, there are only 173 of them left, LOL)

"I used a dangerous thread set up for years, worked fine and I sold em without thought ton the next guy he believing they were safe", if you live you learn eh?

Here's something to help new folks who might think you actually are a knowledgeable experienced airgunner ( sure your experienced). and roll your way.

When a manufacturer used a Dowty washer , you know " the rubber/metal washer " thang, there IS a reason.

Let's use the old style Air Arms fill fitting for an example, why or why did they use a dowty seal? They could have skipped it but did not because it .............................. .

Obvious answer so it should only take you a moment or two to post up the correct answer and get those green balls you concern yourself with a rolling around.

It had to be at least 3 of us "concerned". (You, me and the person who gave you the red ball) Seems by saying "only one besides" would imply that I had given you the negative, but it seems at least one other person cares about safety and doing things correctly

Big Tin, If that person was concerned about safety he would take the time to explain the situation and share the solution. The person that gave me the red ball was more into being a jerk than being helpful!
