Hatsan USA Problems!!!

OK, let me start by saying I am not one to bad mouth anyone. I always give the other person the benefit of the doubt as I know there are usually unseen factors at play but I'm having a real issue keeping my cool with Hatsan USA. Make a long story short I purchased a new AT44 Tact. Received the gun looked great. Tried to tune and wouldn't group with anything I put through it. Dropped the FPS as all Hatsans come in way too hot for my liking and nothing. Contacted Hatsan, explained what was going on and asked to repair or refund my money. They sent me a return label and off it went! That was about 1 1/2 months ago. No communication form Hatsan. I have emailed about 5 times over the last 3 weeks and put 2 calls with messages and still nothing. No response from them at all, like they dropped off the face of the earth. I have always had a good experience with them in the past but don't understand why they can't update me now??? Am I missing something??? Not sure how to reach them to find out what's going on with my refund! Has anyone else had this type of issue with them and how did you end up getting a hold of them? This kind of experience will lose me as a future customer.

Wow that really sucks man. I have only had good luck with Hatsan but I imagine that parts from China being delayed is the reason why it's taking so long. I don't blame them for that but them not contacting you isn't cool tho. To my knowledge filling out thier email customer support ticket is the only way to get a hold of them. Perhaps you can put in a second ticket and ask for a call back? I'm pretty sure they aren't going to screw you over but I don't have to imagine how frustrating it is to not get any updates and they should have warned you about delays before hand or called you back. Wish I could be more help. I do know that I requested a call back on a ticket and they did call me back so I would try that. Good luck to you

I hear you guys. Like I said before, I've owned my fair share of Hatsans. Have used there return or repair services and always came out with a positive experience. But they really dropped the ball this time and I just don't understand it! Will give them to the end of the week for an update. I guess the next step would be to go back to my bank to see if they can help me out?

Shooter1721 should be able to help you out. He’s got close ties with Hatsan as he reviews and speaks highly of all their guns.

All kidding aside, I’m with Raden’s experience with Hatsan. I’ve always filled out the online form, next day followed up with a back up email to them, then a phone message left on their vm. They always got back to me immediately except for one time, and it was due to a part coming from overseas

My one experience with them really shocked me. I sent a message that I intended to be a inquiry about replacement baffles for my qe system. They emailed back within the hour asking how many I would need and I said all. The following day I had an invoice in my inbox for a qe system. I quickly discovered there were much better aftermarket options for the same money so I just ignored the invoice. A couple of days later I got an email from usps. This email stated my package had been redirected to the post office due to non payment. Hatsan shipped the package without even receiving payment. I had bought my Hydra directly from them so my email address had an account attached to it. They just mailed it to that address without confirming anything or receiving payment. Really crazy. Maybe they are only Johnny on the spot when taking your money??

I have only owned 1 Hatsan. Its a .25 Flashpup Wood. I have never really been impressed with this gun from the get go. To me it's just meh.

It has never given me any trouble, but just the same, the build quality isn't that great. It shoots OK I guess. Nothing to write home about. It will be my last Hatsan.

There are just too many better options out there today for the money. Just my .02

Just a quick update on my dealings with Hatsan USA. Still not one response!!! NOTHING... I mean what kind of business operates this way? I've owned about 6 Hatsan PCP's, one break barrel and have always liked there rifles. Its too bad they have lost me as a return customer. I don't know if this is a Hatsan USA problem or just the way the brand operates??? If I don't get a response in the next few days I guess will need to file a complaint with the BBB.

it takes them a long time to respond, I don't know why, they must have other jobs they work at and only work at Hatsan USA's office one day a week????? I found that if you own a Hatsan, you must be your own repair person, having them do any work takes months, I think they send the gun back to Turkey for service..... I don't know, but it's best to learn how to work on the guns yourself so you don't rely on poor customer service.

Everyone, if you have problems try contacting the main Hatsan office in Turkey, they are amazingly good at handling everything. Just got my Hatsan Black Factor with a 1/8" nozzle adapter that was machined a fe mm off and the box was a little damaged i guess in transport. They immediately the same day sent me new ones and they came by plane. They are in the customs right now.

And if they can't send u anything i think that they can do something about US Hatsans behavior, idk change personel or something.

I am from Finland btw.

Good luck! :)
