Hatsan Speedfire .22 vortex

I have read many reviews about the Gamo Maxim, and have a couple buddies that own one. Me being the type that wanted one and like to be different instead bought a Hatsan Speedfire.

I purchased a Refurbished one for $139.

Taking it out of the box my first thought is strange looking gun. The barrel and everything covered with composite. I think it would be a nicer looking gun with a metal barrel exposed. checked it over and loaded up two clips.

I'm not much of a target guy I shoot at Tim cans and hunt with my arsenal. I also prefer open sights.

The way the sights on the rifle are set up I thought to myself good luck hitting anything. Much to my surprise I hit a soup can from 10yrs every time in the 10 round clip. 20 yards out I hit it 7 out of 10 times.

The rifle cocks easily, the clip feed functions well and it is a fairly quiet gun. Fells good either standing or in a military crouch. So far I'm very happy with this rifle.

If you are looking for a multi shot springer this is a good choice.
