My unit came on today with no manual. Does anybody know at what temp i shouldnt run the compressor, how long,maintanence or anything that i should know,?

My manual says not over 195 degree, always start the fan first then the compressor and I always open the bleeder before shutting the pump off. Mine has been problem free and works great. Real doesn’t say much for maintenance other the do not run for more then 15 minutes straight at a time. (if I remember right).

Mine is a Chinese clone. One small sheet of paper with directions, which were turned on ,Turn it off, don't let it get to hot, 65C is normal. I start mine let it run a few moments warming up. Then close valves and fill, open valves and let run a bit cooling the compressor turn it off and let fan run for a while to cool. Don't start under load

Pretty sure the Hatsan is Chinese. I seem to have found the identical compressor, minus the decals, for $264 delivered with power supply and an air drier. Wish there was a little more info online. I was going to wait for the JSAR unit, but for roughly half the price, tough time keeping my Visa card holstered.
Advantage to the Hatsan labeled one is USA warranty support. When I had just a Maximus, hand pumping looked doable. Now, with an Mrodair M10 and a Hatsan AT44 10, compressors are looking more attractive.

Would'nt really know for sure but it seems nearly 100% of these new small compressors are made by TOPA .

195F max temp, 1 liter max in one fill, and no more than 30 continues minutes run time (although 15 minutes seems like a more realistic target going by temps when running), also let the compressor cool back down to room temperature between fills.
It also says to turn the compressor off before opening the vent screw, but I'm not sure whether it matters.

Seems reasonable not having a 4000 to 0 drop in compression. I'm just opening the valve slowly so there is no big shock. Then letting it run a couple before shutting the compressor portion down and letting the fan run.
