Is this the unit that requires another unit to be able to plug into an outlet?

Did you forget the taxes? I use 10% for both the compressor and power supply. I get free valve shipping. But taxes is $38. So really didnt save anything using the 10% off codes. Total price for both is $430.

There’s a few folks on the GTA that have invested in the Spark. No complaints whatsoever. If I had to do it all again, meaning no SCBA tanks, no hand pumps, and wanted to keep things so very simple as far as fill stations, the Spark is what I would have gone with. It would not have bugged me one bit that the 120v plug in feature came as a separate unit.

I've had mine for a few months now. I bought through Opti, also with the 10% off. Best comp deal I could find. Other than no auto shut off and the relief screw seeming like you can over tighten it, I can't speak I'll of anything other than the fan whine. I haven't used it off 12v source yet, but I've filled my 4500 psi .5 liter Flex bottle from 2200 to 4500 going through a big tuxing filter tube in 20 mins. Would be faster going direct. There is some dirty junk on the one side of the tampon filter, but it hasn't gone through yet, which is why I choose to use the cartridge. Wiseguy has been using one with success longer than I. Seems like the easiest jump in at this stage and I've not heard of any issues like the Nomads.

You will like that little compressor. I have had mine for 6 months now and have definitely put it through the paces. It just keeps chugging along without any issues. Keep in mind it is just for filling guns. 

Butch, Could you possibly put a link to the airmega filter? I've searched all over and cannot find it.

Every time I’ve ordered from Optics planet it seems they are always back ordered. Once was a Vortex PST scope, and the other two times were reloading dies. Everywhere else had these products in stock, but a bit higher in price. Always wondered if this is how they do things- come in at the lowest price but not have them in stock.

I had a Crimson Trace cts-1200 red dot on order with OpticsPlanet for almost 6 months. I would check the site at times and see availability showing down to one week then it woiuld go back to 30 days or longer. Did that multiple times. Finally cancelled the order and got a Leupold Delta Point Pro. Certainly not OpticsPlanets fault on availability of the CT sight but the updates constantly changing on their site was irritating.
