Hatsan Nova 22 cal after mods

I did a few mods to my Hatsan Nova. Nothing extreme I just changed the aluminum bottle to a CF bottle and exchanged the 23" barrel for a 19" barrel. It's shooting 18gr JSBs at 905 fps. For some reason it's wasting air, but it's not affecting the accuracy of the gun. The top target is when I was zeroing the gun, the middle target is 10 shots at 35 yards. Remember I shoot standing using the Caldwell Magnum Fieldpod in the picture.

Thanks man. I like shooting it as much as my higher end PCPs. In its stock form I have zapped a couple of birds at over 150 yards in the past.

Nice BD. That Nova is on my list in .25 cal after I get the Hatsan Lightning compressor.

When you say wasting air is the shot count low or is there a leak? I have an at 44 wuth 2 tanks. One i get 50 shots out of and goes from 3000 psi down to 1800 or so. The other is 30 shots and goes from 3000 down to 2000. Both tanks filled using the compressor gauge rather than the tank guage . The better tank came with the gun (177) the other came off a 25 cal that was a uswd return

I haven't did a full string but I can hear that blow back sound that indicates all the air is not going out of the barrel. I changed the breech orings. With the original bottle and long barrel I was getting over 100 shots per fill

Thanks. Im wondering if my one tank is regulated and set for the 25 cal. I hear the blowback on that tank also. I dont use it much as im mostly shooting from the house. Next rainy day im gonna bleed those tanks off and open them up.
