.. i asked the hatsan reps about this model with latching / locking barrel , and nicer stock as i was getting some parts… the previous two aigun shows here in texas (not this last one in june, tho)     ….    they explained that they knew only one here state-side.   .22 performs the best from the hatsan 85 and 95, and even the striker 1000's ive had can do an even 800 fps with good 14.3's.   it's just more ftlbs for hunting –  around 18 ftlbs in .25 (645 with 20 grainers) , almost as much in .177 (950 with 8 grainers)  – but 20 ftlbs in .22…….    i even tried managing my own hybrid from the browning gold guns , but those are more like hatsan 125's with a ginormous heavy top hat . .    has anyone ever seen one these haysan model 99's here in the u.s. ??   shot one ??   maybe even owned one or repaired one ?    – paul .       https://www.pushka.eu/product/Air-rifle_Hatsan-99-6.35-mm-Quatro-SAS

I haven't read anything about it yet. But will be on the look out for it.

By the way what does this mean:

i even tried managing my own hybrid from the browning gold guns , but those are more like hatsan 125's with a ginormous heavy top hat .

    Very interesting info!

I wonder if Mike from Mike Ellingsworth** Mr Stepping Stone*** knows this? Don't know if you know or heard about him.

He's the "go to guy" for Hatsans.

    Many thanks for sharing!

..  well , fang , does m.ellingsworth have a website or name he tunes hatties under ?  these hatsan magnum springers were incredibly powerful .   the later .22 model 125 quattro rifles came out of the box shooting 965 fps with crosman premier hollow points , and it was the only gun that ive seen actually mushroom these dimple hollow points .    i used to help people with their big hatsan springers , but i'm not a magnum power monger i once was.  https://raneair.webs.com/tuningservices.htm       – paul .

He goes by "Mike Ellingsworth** Mr Stepping Stone***" on YouTube.

Type that name in and you'll be able to find him.
