Hatsan, Hercules Bully question

Anyone here own a Hatsan, Hercules Bully ? I know that it's kind of a monster, but that why I'm asking.

I'd like to know if any owners have removed the shroud for any reason. I'd like to know where the barrel stops in relation to the air tank. The length in numbers doesn't help, I need to know where the barrel end is.

I want to make one more...like a Bullpup is supposed to be...short. I need to know if it's a simple modify the shroud, or will I need to modify the actual barrel. It would also help to know if the barrel is threaded or not.

Not me personally but is it this one? How do you like the trigger and how it shoots?

Barrel starts 7 or 8 fingers from the shroud.

It can be simple take down be screwing counterclockwise if you look in the barrel.

No, just thinking out loud. If I can shorten it somewhat easily, I may buy one. Otherwise, no, it's way too long for my taste. Now, it's more like a Sniper rifle, looks wise..!

If I understand correctly, the barrel ends about the end of the carbon fiber bottle ?

Yes its a 24 inch barrel it has some kronpart with ventholes on it to center it in the shroud and let the airpressur bach in the shroud.

But you can unscrew this thing.

The silencer part of the shroud has 2 haircurlers and a piece of plastik in same lengt as the haircurlers.

Without the innerparts is very loud in 25 cal.

But its a very strong rifle it can push the jsb 34gr to 310m/s with hammer spring settings.
