Hatsan Flash Huma Reg. power plenum xl/ side benefit de-pinging

So I have a Hatsan Flash mostly stock in .25 cal. I do have aftermarket ebay qe barrel baffles installed, they helped as well. It is pretty quiet but I want to get rid of the slight ping from the hammer strike. Looking at all the ideas from least expensive to the method I went with. I installed a Huma Reg ( set at 95 bar) with a .30 cal plenum. Don't know the exact cc size but for the money and side benefits I feel that, for me, this was the way to go. Roughly same amount of shots (actually a few more) also less than 11 fps spread in the test string. The ping has diminished significantly. Don't have a sound meter to know for sure, but shooting indoors I can really tell. Thought I would pass this information on. I also own a Hatsan Hydra and I am planning on doing the same mod to that as well. I also might do an air cylinder switch of the two if they are compatible, the Hydra's is shorter, as I want to see how light I can make the Flash. Turning it into a "Fly weight pcp." This is just me playing and making a dedicated, high shot count, backyard - nosy neighbor friendly, pest eliminator. I did not adjust the hammer spring tension or change orifice sizes (enlarge ports). It is still stock in that respect. So I shot one string and will shoot another and record the results and if interested I will post the results as a follow up. I do have one question that piques my interest. Now that I have a regulator holding back the full air pressure of the 200 bar air cylinder, could I possibly be able to safely fill to maybe 205 to 210 bar. I can't remember where I saw the info but remember seeing such a statement and the reason why. If someone could point to the location of information for me to digest I would be greatly appreciative.

So back to my original post, the Flash is getting more consistent in its shot string mostly. Still have a large difference from Highest (adnominally) and the lowest shot, but several repeat FPS readings, one set of four duplicate and several pairs in a string. Took out the internal aftermarket baffle and just use a 0db moderator alone now, very, very quiet still. The Hydra cylinder is a different size internally I believe but I did order a Huma reg for the Hydra and I will take measurements when it arrives. One thing I did come up with that might be a short cut to some extent is use an auxiliary tank that has a regulator (My gauntlet bottle with a Ninja fill top attached, slide check in line) and use it as the slave tank and if you know your existing reg setting on the gauntlet bottle then shooting to gather shot string info. That I am thinking this is easier than disassembling the Hatsan Pcp tank repeatedly removing the internal Huma reg, adjusting and reinstalling. This is to get an idea where to set the Huma regulator for install. Will visit this test setup again as I am testing for truth in performance (repeatability). Some Okay/good videos on U-toob that are guiding me a bit but I am mostly piecing information together as there is a lot information and videos on FX but only a few really on Hatsan that I have gathered knowledge from. Eventually I will make internal machining adjustments or porting and then polishing and then final tuning for Hammer Spring strike. If anyone is interested as I ramble on that I am experimenting on the Flash to eventually tune the Hydra. Both will be tuned for the H&N .25 Crow Magnums and similar weight dome pellets.. If anyone has insight please share, I want to learn all the "tribal knowledge" that I can.

I just found the video Matt Dauber mentions regulating an S 510 and increasing the bottle pressure. I now have to find the info for the Hatsan cylinder pressure to know if I can do the same. But I do use a slave set up on my bog pod, it is a spare gauntlet bottle and really helps in shooting several magazines in a row.
