Here is a pick of what the holes look like, there are 5 holes on all five flat sides of the LDC.

edit for five.

Imold- can you tell me a little bit about your bipod? Manufacturer? Height off of table? Height adjustable? Lightweight? Does it come with a pic attachment to it, or do you have an adapter to go from pic rail to sling stud in between? Lastly, as you tilt the rifle side to side, any flexing on that bottle cover transferring up to the shroud bands? Maybe your bipod allows side to side tilt. That would for sure not allow that bottle cover to flex.

got a question on your DonnyFL emperor. I have the Donny FL Shogun, and mine does not tame the rapport like yours does. You mentioned some added vent holes that Donny put in? Was that a modification to his own product, or did it come this way, with the vent holes? Can you show a close up pic of these vent holes?

Thank you!! By the way, nice range!! If that’s on your property, then that’s an air gunners dream right there!

Yes this is my land, I bought 12.7 acres awhile back and cleaned it up then mowed about 5-6 acres and set up the range on the east side of property along the tree line so it’s not interfering with the rest of the property and there is nothing behind the targets for about 1.5 miles, just low land and marsh with trees.

Some of Donny's suppressors have a new design....pin sized vent holes around the body and/or in the end cap (slightly larger holes), which make a noticeable difference/reduction in suppression.

The Tatsu and Tanto have pin holes around the body/can. The new Sumo 30 has them in both areas. You can't beat Donny's products for the number of options as well as performance.

Today I ordered a Sumo 30 for my wild cat compact.

Like the song goes, Imold, “ this land is your land, this land is MY LAND....” I’ll be there shortly to share the range, lol!!

Sometimes I kill myself. That’s funny stuff right there!

I have the SUMO on my .25 Wildcat and it’s nice, hope you like yours. Donny told me if my airgun is shooting under 900 FPS the Shogun or Sumo would be good to use but if over 900 FPS to go with the Emperor for sure and he thought the Shogun might be ok, I’m glad I went with the Emperor on my Bully.30.

Hahahaha sure it’s only maybe a 2.5 day drive for you and I have lots of room for tents heeheehee but I’ll be using my camper, I’m to old and broken to be tenting.

Glad you did bring it back up, Imold. It tells me you love this Bully, and motivates me to keep at it in bringing out the best in this gun. I just found out AOA put out a video on you tube on tuning these Bully’s.

I have to be honest, though, but after Haji posted up a video on that Bullmaster, and Midway so happened to have it on sale at the cheapest I’ve found it(in a 25 cal!!) I almost said see ya to the bully. Well, the lack of play money on hand cured that, lol.

Then, something Haji pointed out on his video made sense to me- this gun (Bullmaster) is not for the person who doesn’t have an unlimited amount of air(has to hand pump)or someone that worries about costs of ammo, unless you use the gun what it was designed for, and that was to offer a quick follow up shot with out taking your eye off of the scope. Thinking back on my kind of shooting, which is target shooting and pest control, I really have no need for a semi auto. Besides, with this Bully, I already see my Marauder not being used that much. I can’t imagine having two guns not being used at all, if I got that BM.

Funny thought, but when magazined PCP’s first hit the scene, the selling point was for “quick follow up shots”. Now, with these semi autos, I feel my mag fed Bully and Marauder are equal to a break barrel, lol.

i already know what I’m asking for Xmas, thanks to you, Imold. Gonna get myself one of those regulators so I can shoot tethered. The dark side never ends.

Imold, this is a generic photo I found on the web shortly after the Bully was released. One of these days I’d like to find someone to cut and re thread my factory shroud so I can get the shroud this short. I like the look of a more compact bull pup.

i wonder if Donny does this type of work? Hmmm...

That does have a certain appeal to it.

I tell you what, once you pay the price and start shooting tetherd it’s hard to shoot any other way off bench but a person still needs to separate the hose from the gun once in awhile just so you remember what the gun does on it’s own but then it’s back to tetherd and lots of constant shots from 35, 50 to 100 yards and beyond hitting steel, I really like shooting my HMx .30, it’s smooth, accurate and fun but the Bully .30 just feels more like a blue collar working mans gun you might say.

The Hercules Bully just thumps so hard. I only use the 44.75 grain vortex pellets, and this damage to my pellet trap was during the initial site in at 40 yards when I first got the gun. No holes on the target, just around the edges of my 16 ga pellet trap. Something was definately wrong with something inside of the gun, so back to hatsan it went for repairs.

This trap is so beat up, I can’t even get my channel locks on the edges to try and pull the flanges straight. My Marauder 25 cal at 860 FPS no where did any damage like these 30 cal pellets. Because of the Bully, I had to bolt in a 1/4” thick plate on the inside against the back wall of the trap, and re stick in some new duct seal. Without that plate, it would’ve blown right thru in time

New to the form ...soaking in all the info bout the bully since I ordered one from field supply in .30 on November 9 still waiting 7-10 days my ass ...for 699 with free scope n bipod....waiting them out!!!

tramarks that’s not a bad deal. Some dealers get items out right away and some it seems like they do it at their own convenience, we all have dealt with it at one time or another, I’ll be right up honest with ya, the Bully well it’s loud it’s a bit heavy and the trigger isn’t the lightest but once you get the trigger lightened up and a Moderator on it it’s a good shooter, your getting a 700.00 dollar airgun that has good potential with some tlc.

jim.

Tramarks, when you get that thing all set up and ready to shoot-

are you going to shoot off of a rest or use a bipod on the attachment under the bottle cover? If you use the bipod, and can’t get decent groups, watch for the flex on the bipod from tilting side to side transfer up to the scope rail. If this is happening, you can do one of two things, change over to a rest, and place the bottom of the rifle rested more towards the main stock, away from the bottle cover. Your accuracy should improve by a lot.

The second option if you choose to go the route I did, is to get rid of the bottle cover, call Hatsan, and order the scope rail off of the Bullmaster. I don’t know how to post links, but I did a whole write up on that not too long ago. I am now getting pellet on pellet groups like my Marauder.

Its a great gun, a bit heavy, and has tons of power. That 30 caliber hits so very hard. Just has a poor design on that scope rail being tied into the barrel shroud and bottle cover.
