Hatsan Bully .30 with the DonnyFL Emperor, shooting video added.

Just thought I would share a pic or two of my Hatsan Bully .30 with the DonnyFL Emperor installed on it.

Tomorrow when I go out I’ll set up my chrono and see what I’m getting, I was at 991-995 FPS before the installation of the Emperor so will find out if it increased or decreased my fps, also I will add that after each shot there is a slight hiss of air and I believe that is from air leaving the small holes drilled on the LDC so f I have any complaints it that the Bully is 10” longer.

I had to return brand new .357 Bully, fill port sliding cover was not opening completely and sharp edge was slicing through fill probe o-rings

I don't know who called that rifle Quiet Energy

It sounded like cannon, I have closest neighbor house a few hundred yards away, still had to stop

it was like shooting firearm

Please tell how DonnyFL works for you??? Is it backyard friendly after installation?

Thanks

The Hatsans are just loud to start with even the QE and the .30 Bully is no exception and that’s why I was Leary on spending money on a LDC for it I thought no way can this be tamed but now after putting the DonnyFL Emperor on it I’m glad I did, what I hear more now is the internal workings of the Bully and after each shot there is a small hiss of air leaving the LDC from those small holes Donny drilled in the main body.

Now is it back yard friendly? Well I shoot out in the country on my other property so I don’t have neighbors to worry about and I don’t get any repor off houses or fences like you would in town but I do know I can sit next to it while my son shoots it now and I don’t need to cover my ears and I can clearly hear the pellet strike the steel plates all the way out to 100 yards and before I put the Emperor on it was hard to hear the Impact because of how loud it was.

What I can do or will do when I go out tomorrow and shoot I’ll pay more attention to how loud it really is because today I was so happy that it wasn’t barking anymore I really didn’t pay enough attention to how loud it really was but I would say if I sat in my pickup 30-40 feet away it would be hard to hear inside but let me test that out tomorrow with my son, my camper is about 25 feet behind/north of my bench and I park my pickup about 30-40 feet away from the bench on the west side and I’ll sit in both and see how it really is.

Donny, I can attest that my Sumo did not change my average muzzle fps either. This was determined by running a full-bottle regulated shot string (47 shots) on my Wildcat .25 Mk1. The difference was de minimis (849.2 fps to 848.0 fps). I didn't have to generate a new Chairgun range card. There were only three variances and they were all at the 100th mil-dot level. (I have my WC ranged out to 100 yds.)

I am moments away from running a shot string with my Emperor. I'll keep you posted! Thank you so much for vastly enhancing my AG experience :)

Imold- can you tell me a little bit about your bipod? Manufacturer? Height off of table? Height adjustable? Lightweight? Does it come with a pic attachment to it, or do you have an adapter to go from pic rail to sling stud in between? Lastly, as you tilt the rifle side to side, any flexing on that bottle cover transferring up to the shroud bands? Maybe your bipod allows side to side tilt. That would for sure not allow that bottle cover to flex.

got a question on your DonnyFL emperor. I have the Donny FL Shogun, and mine does not tame the rapport like yours does. You mentioned some added vent holes that Donny put in? Was that a modification to his own product, or did it come this way, with the vent holes? Can you show a close up pic of these vent holes?

Thank you!! By the way, nice range!! If that’s on your property, then that’s an air gunners dream right there!

Some of Donny's suppressors have a new design....pin sized vent holes around the body and/or in the end cap (slightly larger holes), which make a noticeable difference/reduction in suppression.

The Tatsu and Tanto have pin holes around the body/can. The new Sumo 30 has them in both areas. You can't beat Donny's products for the number of options as well as performance.
