Hatsan Bullmaster Cycling Problems- Help, SOS!

I thought it would be important to start a post about a serious issue I've had with with my new Bullmaster. Hopefully, we can share information and avoid getting angry and fustrated before we purchase a $8-900 dollar piece of metal and plastic.

First was a minor issue: As soon as it came, it was out of air. I began to filled it to 140 bar and it leaked almost just as quickly as i filled it. It leak straight out from the barrel with a deep clear "hisss". I dry fired a few times, still leaked. Just as I was about to get angry, I decided to fill it up to 3600psi and hoped it would push what ever seal was leaking shut- AND IT WORKED! Problem fixed! I thought that was going to be the only hiccup, but I was sooooo wrong!

I loaded a mag, popped it in, and noticed it was not cycling correctly. It would fire only one shot then dry fire the rest, without the mag spinning. Initially, I thought it was the prob with the magazines so loosened the screw and they began working much smoother. I popped the mag back in, and the same problem occured.

Thinking it was the pellets, I tried every type I had. All the different pellets did the same, and the problem continued. I then looked closer at the gun. I pulled the action back and examined and felt the action. I noticed it seemed much more difficult than it should be to lock the hammer to the rear. I thought it could have been just a problem that it was not lubricanted or not "broken in" enough. So, I dry fired a few hundred times hoping it would help, but still nothing changed. Everytime I would put a new magazine in, it would fire only one round and dry fire the rest.

I examined the hammer by pulling the bolt back more and realized it was something internal inside the gun. The gun was much more difficult than it should be to at the last half to quarter lenth of the pull. I realized the pellet pusher was not moving all the way back and not letting the magazine cycle a new pellet in. Either there was something stuck in the gun, or the "blow back" cycling was not getting enough air to push the bolt far enough back.

QUESTIONS

1. Did anyone else experience this problem? I don't dare take the gun apart (and void warranty) unless I know 100% it can be fixed by myself.

2. Does Hatsan really stand by their warranty on the gun? Will they make it right? This is my third Hatsan and the only "out of the box" problem I could not fix on my own. Ive always thought they were by far the most "bang for the buck" for pcp air rifles.

3. What should I do? Advice please.

I had to send my BT65SB Elite QE Back because I couldn’t get it to zero, I emailed Hatsan and explained my problem, even tried 3 different scopes, they gave me a return tag and ups label fix it and sent it back, turned out the shroud was bent, I can hit a 4” gong at 100 yards all day long now, I also bought a Bullboss and that’s a keeper for sure, both are .25 caliber’s. I’m really happy with both my Hatsan airguns.

Sent the Bullmaster in, got a new one that works perfect without hassle or any cost to me. Hatsan's support network is right on par with what you would expect. A must you have to look into before buy a pcp rifle.

Have been doing chrono work. Seems to be accurate, powerful, functioning the way it should. Chrono shows 31-33 fpe with 21 gain. With the large tank and shot count, there is a nice flat sweet spot of at least two, or maybe, three solid mags. I don't think a regulator would be beneficial or cost effective. Still think a cf tank would help with weight and free-hand accuracy but cutting over a pound off of its nose weight....to be continued...
