Hatsan AT44 QE long vs Marauder

Hey guys I'm looking to step up up a little bigger gun without breaking the bank. I like 22 but contemplating .25. Main purpose: pest birds small game hunting some plinking I am kinda wanting a higher shot count. 25+. The two guns I have come across so far are the mrod and Hatsan AT44 lomg can anyone give insight as to which would be a better buy in the long run. Or if another is even better and close to same price range please add suggestions?!

I had both in .25. The At44 long qe out shot the marauder every day and twice on Sunday. Accuracy wasn't even close. I tried tuning the Marauder as much as I could over a few weeks to try to make it work to no avail. Amazon customer service graciously took it back. I actually kind of regretted selling the Hatsan because it was so accurate for the money. It was hard to part with. Who knows though, maybe I am one of the unlucky ones that got a bad barrel on the 25 Marauder. That's a tough one though because the 25's are supposed to have the Green Mountain barrel which are fairly reputable.

I love my mrod in 25 and idk about what cliff had but a buddie of mine has an at44long and on the range at 50 yards there pretty much equal I will say thay I shot a lot more pellet brands then he did to find what was most accurate as for shot count you can also spen 130 extra bucks to get a regulator and install it on both these guns

the at shoots little harder but for small pest you can always dial down the fps little as long as you don't lose accuracy it will improve your shot count as well
