Hatsan 44 wood or Synthetic

Went to buy a Hatsan 44 S10 22 caliber Long side lever/bolt with synthetic stock.

OOPS . . . I forgot NOT QE or PA STYLE

That combo is not to be found.
The wood can be found but they are 100 bucks more and I am trying to convert everything I have to synthetic stock.

I was perusing the net this morning and found one post where the owner found accuracy improvement going synthetic to wood on his 44, but there may well be other fixes for that problem.

The 44 seems to be lower dollar than many who shoot here dabble in, but it is the price point I am willing to go to to obtain the performance I expect.

Yes, pump action long synthetic and short lever guns are available and no that is not what I want.

Does Hatsan ship fewer of the guns like that I am seeking, or are there more sold and they are sold out?

What style/size is the thread on the Hatsan fill probe?

"blackdiesel"I thought I answered your question in a different thread. Here is a refrb 22 long synthetic stock at Airgun Pro shop. http://www.airgunproshop.com/shop/hatsan-refurbished-at44s-10-long-qe-air-rifle-22-cal/
I just recently bought an AT44 long QE .25 from here and it was perfect. Came with original box, extra mag, fill probe, all the original manuals and paperwork, extra o-rings. You'd never know it wasn't a new gun. Most importantly it shoots great as well. I'd buy here again before I bought new just because you know they're testing the guns before they go out and the savings are quite substantial in my opinion. Best of luck with whatever you choose.

Cliff

Louis

Thanx to all for your responses/suggestions so far.

I will chase each down.
Will be watching the PRO site.

Maybe I will get lucky and find one there since it will be better than new, lacking warranty from what I read and 1 year warranty only 149 bucks.

Oh well, can use the Disco til something shows up..

The picture and model number in that link depict the 10 shot side lever that I asked for in my order and in repeated phone calls and one or two emails, they sent the Pump Action anyway.
Did not even remove it from the plastic bag, just boxed it up and sent it on its merry way. In fact it is making it's way west from KC Kansas as I type this according to the internet tracking.
When I called of course one can only get a number for the call center in Ohio.

In that case you may have to go with the QE model. There's not many new non QE models sold. I actually got the non QE model from Airgun Proshop and had it upgraded to QE later. I've had my valve modified and added a regulator to mine and getting unbelievable accuracy. I have the reg set to shoot 18gr JSBs st 900 fps and 16 gr JSBs and Air Arms at 930 fps.
