Has Anyone Received Their MRod Compressor

I haven't heard anything either. However, I take some comfort in a post from Michael at MRodair stating that the reason they're going out so slowly is because they're testing each compressor thoroughly (filling two tanks to 4500 psi with each compressor, checking for leaks, etc.) before they ship them out. Just being patient. After the underwhelming news coming out of SHOT I'm becoming less and less enamored with the whole airgun industry; have definitely put my plan to purchase an high-end bullpup on indefinite hold.

:). Yes, but let me fantasize a moment about what would have been overwhelming:

1. Air Arms unveiled their new bullpup with a full shroud and 310cc reservoir (thus eliminating the barrel/cylinder gap). Housed in a lightweight carbon fiber stock and available in .177, .22 and .25 caliber, the new bullpup weighs only 6 pounds in carbine format and will be available unregulated for $1099; $1199 regulated.

2. Air Gun Technology actually had a booth and displayed its new Vulcan .30.

3. American Air Arms actually had a booth and displayed its new Slayer Pup with forward cocking lever and, thanks to holes CDC'd in its metal stock, weighing only 6 lbs. It promises 60 shots in .25 caliber at 50 ft-lbs.

4. Crossman, after more than 3 years observing the growth of bullpup craze, unveiled its Marauder based bullpup priced at only $500. Crossman also announced that it finally has solved the issue of how to manufacture a .22 barrel without overboring and promised that all future .22 caliber Marauder rifles and bullpups would be able to compete on the world stage in accuracy.

5. Edgun actually had a booth and unveiled a new carbon fiber stock to compliment the laminated stock announced earlier. In carbon fiber form the RM3 will weigh only 5.8 lbs.

5. Kalibrgun announced its new Colibri semi-automatic bullpup in .177, .22 and .25 calibers. It also announced that a carbon fiber stock option would lower the weight of its .25 Cricket to only 4.95 lbs.

6. A NEW AIRGUN COMPANY announced that it was producing a bullpup airgun for the 21st Century. Aluminum barrel, titanium reservoir of 310cc capable of being filled to 3600 psi, carbon fiber stock and regulated, it weighs only 4.5 lbs in .25 caliber and produces 50 shots at 50 ft-lbs of energy.

There's always the IWA in March; who knows? :)

Wow, You and I sure have a different take on Shot.

I thought there were more exciting new airguns then ever before,,, I love all the new items that are out and the huge push for HPA guns.

Wow guys,

So after saving you nearly a grand and taking the time to make sure your compressors work well, this is how it is ?

We have presales on these new products, with a very small down payment to judge the interest in a product and have an indication of how to proceed in volume.

Yes, we are a small company and yes we are very busy getting these compressors shipped, but only after they are tested.

A few of the electrical components we had to replace to make these compressors right and we take the time to do that at no charge, before we ship them out. Not a big deal, but it took a few days longer than expected.

i suppose we could have shipped these right away, blamed the problems on the Chinese, then sold you the replacement parts to make them more reliable, but that's not how we do business.

Its a new product guys.

We just want to deliver a decent compressor at a decent price and we appreciate your patience while we get these shipped out.

Communicate !

Start, heck only you know where to start, but maybe start with publicly answering " Strever" on the above link thread. He seems to indicate he is paid in full and has nom communication on his order think ( and posting his belief) that he is paid in full has waited ..... and thinks you are saying you will ship to a new ( never contacted before) customer in 5-7 days.
Perhaps make a list ( using only initals or screen names but that last one can be a bear) of,
all customers who have paid in full
where each customer is on your list
customers whose unit's have already shipped ( or how many units are there, how many have shipped to date, estimate when the last person will get there's)
customers who need to get the rest of their "deposit"

POST this information and update it as more units ship.

Take the time to communicate! It WILL save you headache.


You have a very uncommon in the airgun world business model of asking people to pay up front, ( sure some folks ask for a "deposit" but usally only a token payment of say $100.00 on a $2,000 rifle) naturally they want to be informed, the more information the better. Post pictures - a fast cell phone pic doesn't take ;long- of your inventory.
Closed box's don't count, show the units. Find a common defect, say a wire which again slows everything down, post a picture of it, one email CAN be sent to all your customers at the same time but posting on your choice of forums would be better.

Also, hard as it may be, be NICE! SMILE! Happy happy happy airgun times, eh?
You may see "I saved them money" but, you haven't. You list a price, people pat that price, full price. If your compressor sells for $995.00 and you give me one free, "I" still haven't saved $1,000. All verbiage but folks ARE picky , want their toys , want them now, and will read anything negative if they can . 

Open communication WILL make your life easier! 


So, 
How many compressors do you now have in the shop?
How many are paid in full?
How many are left available?
How many have already shipped?
What is the actual delivery time frame if ordered today?

By the time I create this list, they will all be shipped brother.
As for pics, and info, this was all posted right here on this very forum.

it was then promptly deleted.

we have made several inquires about becoming a sponsoring vendor to remedy this situation and until then have agreed to offer product support and keep the links, pics etc off this forum until this is dealt with.

we are not going to engage you in a protracted commentary on the savings, as this to most is evident, however we will strive to do better in the future on our delivery schedule.
