So there are two things worth mentioning here.

The first is Botach. They have a pretty poor reputation in the tactical community for various problems, in some cases selling things they don't have, poor customer service, and so forth. In general, it is advisable to avoid them. Because my word isn't worth anything, my recommendation would be simply to look at their BBB profile:

My personal recommendation is that you tell them to immediately refund your order. It takes several days for refunds to appear on your credit card, so do be patient and give them some time, however if the still don't refund there are strong consumer protections for CC purchases so you can simply file a chargeback.

Regarding Eotech, they also have a less than wonderful reputation. They have suffered from a long string of design flaws, shoddy engineering, cover-ups, etc. There was a MASSIVE brouhaha a while back when it was revealed their optics had major thermal POI shifts. There was the battery recoil issue. There are the durability issues. The list just goes on and on. Anyway point is I'd advise against buying them. I know some guys love their Eotechs and swear by them, and I'm sure I'll catch some fire for speaking out against them, but again they're poorly regarded for good reason.

Obviously that leaves the question of which optic to get. Without knowing your exact requirements it is hard to say, but in general people tend to have great experiences with Vortex, Aimpoint, and Trijicon.

I hope that helps, and remember this advice is worth what you paid for it, I'm just some nutcase on the internet. ;) :)
