Willy, as for the 'coupon', that was probably only intended for a promotion of some sorts.. 
I've never heard of something that like actually being 'needed' otherwise.. 

I hope you were dealing with Hatsan USA's official page.. 
You mentioned 'them' having your *credit card number, *And PIN?
Hopefully you are referring to the "CVV code" [the 3-digit # on the back]
That's the Card-Verification-Value, used for security purposes.. 
The "PIN* - That should never be asked, required, or given out.. 
That'd be the top scret four digit # you use Personally for the card..
[If that # gets out, I'd be changing it ASAP or canceling the card]
