I ordered these from Amazon (mainly to make my order qualify for free shipping) and this is what I got. The box was in perfect condition, and packed well. However the tin was damaged inside. It had to be damaged at either amazon packing, or in transit to them? However, the skirts on these pellets look awfully thin and frail so I have to wonder.....Is this common with this particular pellet?

250ct tin, and only 20 good undamaged pellets.

"thumper"Are they 15.9gr .22 cal? I quit using the 15.9gr because the skirts were so thin they always got messed up.

All the other size and calibers were always good for me. That sucks man.
Yes they are the 15.9 gr 22 cal. This weight was selected due to it being a top performer in my Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk 22 during testing by an online reviewer. However if this is gonna be an issue I will avoid these in this weight. I dont think I want to go any heavier as this Venom doesnt have that much power. I am lucky to get in the mid 700FPS range with a 14.3 gr.

I filed a return with Amazon.

What a bummer. I received a few dented tins of pellets (pellets skirts mashed and deformed) Made a few phone calls and had them replaced (Air Arms Pellets in 25). The packages must have been dropped or handled roughly during shipping. I have had similar complaints with the JSB 15.9 thinner skirts in 22 but sorted them out. I have gone to the heavier pellets since.

I just received today from Pyramid air 8 tins of JSB 25.39 .25 cal. . Excellent packaging. Opened all tins and looked inside and moved pellets around and did not see one damaged or nicked pellet. So I ordered 16 MORE ! 3 orders in 6 Mo. on pellets and no damaged ones. I live in Washington state. Lots of miles and Hands to get to my door.

"Tony.R"If you like 16gr then try these pellets, all made by JSB but with tighter quality Control. I have a couple tins of 16gr FX and they are a lot better skirts than my 18gr JSB

FX pellets
Air Arms pellets
Edgun Pellets
Daystate pellets

I will have a look at those options. I am new to the 22 cal and was just going off of what online reviewers said my Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk preferred. I havent been using it lately as I need to lube the chamber and dont have any oil at the moment. I just havent got around to ordering any yet.
