Hard Sell

Lots of great input. And I appreciate it. For those of you mentioning $2000 and/or break it up, it IS broken up. I have the gun for $1250. And I have the scope in a separate listing. I only put the $2000 on there because a couple of people asked: "How much for the gun, scope, donnyfl and bipod all assembled like in the pictures.?"

That is a decent scope and I can't bring myself to just "give" that stuff away. I made the people an offer of 68% of the cost. Hence my "Hard sell" topic. $2000 is a lot to ask for used equipment. Unless it is just over $3000 worth of stuff They asked, after all. If I were looking at this gun and knew I was getting that deal, I would buy. That is why I asked for input from you all. 

I feel a little better now that I've read what a lot of you have to say. Makes perfect sense to me.

@sonny, Thanks for the encouragement. I might just leave it and bump it along and see if time passing makes a difference. Maybe someone is looking for just this. It is very accurate and a real pleasure to shoot. I reassembled it and put my Sightron STAC scope on it. Man, what a blast. The STAC is a much better scope for this gun. (Thanks C'Cut)

Packaged deals are always hard to sell @ their full value, and I value my package much more than what anyone would offer me. 



Market is currently flooded with newly released pcp's @ the 1200~ or less price point which probably has a lot of peoples interest.

So true. And, not knowing better, I bought the laminate stock. It is beautiful, but I don't think people looking to buy used, see the value in the quality of this stock.

If I had $2000 to spend, it wouldn’t be on a package deal on a used gun. I’d be getting a brand new Impact MKii. I think a lot of other people probably thinking the same thing. 



Better off selling everything individually. I have a Gen 2 Crown. Huma Regged and upgrading FX gauges. Pepper laminate. I’d be lucky to get $1400 for it. Probably would have to settle for $1200 to get it sold even though I know it’s worth more. Everyone looking for deals, including me! Lol. $2000 isn’t a deal even if it comes with all kinds of goodies. It’s still $2000.

LOL... you have a rather funny way of looking at things. I laughed when I read this. If you had $2000 you'd buy an impact. And you still need another $1000+ worth of stuff to make it do what it does best. Would you buy that same Impact for $2000, used in perfect condition, with a bipod, Donnyfl, and a $550 scope on it? That is pretty close to what my offer looks like.

And you said $1200 for your Crown would sell it? Well, that is EXACTLY the point of this thread. This laminate Wildcat outshoots my Crown (which is pretty dang accurate). And I am asking $1250. Still hasn't sold

Have you tried the other forums? Some folk only belong and frequent one forum. 

Also, is there anything you would be interested in getting? If so, offer a trade? Another thought, even though I’m sure you’d get low balled is to see if a dealer will make you a deal. Maybe they will give you a fair trade in value if you buy a higher end item(s)
