As a Republican I feel like every day is the 4th of July while Democrats feel like every day is the 15th of April. But that is neither here no there. It's the Fourth and nothing says "let's celebrate America" quite like drinking beer and playing with explosives. Just in case you are wondering, I AM proud to be an American ... because when a person is born anywhere in the world, they get a free ticket to the freak show. But when you are born in America, you get a front row seat!
Soooooo looky here folks, yall have a great day, enjoy family and friends, play with the kids, spend a quiet monent contemplating the wonderment of living here at this time and this place ... you know ... count your blessings ... and at the end of the day … count your fingers.

Happy 4th all. John, very nice post, as a libertarian with friends on both sides of the isle, I know quite a few Dems who celebrate the 4th...but I know what you're saying.
