On Youtube I have seen several cases where people have powered thier hand pump. Useing a motor wit a long arm it slowly pumps right along. This idea is catchy to me.

Does anyone here use something like this or have seen one.? Anyone here make them?

I don't have money for a high dollar pump and I think this would be a good fix.

Thanks. Thats just what I was talking about. I would think they would be for sale all over the place. I would think it would be better that the 3 or 400 dollar machines that do not last too long,according to what I have read. If the pump quit working put on another pump I think I would be happy with such a pump..

What luck. At a demo site today I was snooping around and found a long Hydrolic cylinder. I think I might be on my way. No one was around so I will have to get permission but it was on the scrap metal pile.. I will rebuild it and hook air to it to see how it works. I think it can be done for less than the cost of a compressor.

Ive seen it done but it will take longer due to the pump heating up if you run it fast

I just pulled apart the high press check valve in my 3 stage FX pump, because it was springing back at the bottom of the stroke to about 50% extension. Found the check valve o ring damaged and put the blame at myself because I had a silly ‘mini workout’ and pumped about 200 cycles without stopping for cool down. All that heating with inadequate cool down couldn’t be good for the little 2.5 x 1.5mm check valve O-ring. So yeah, all for 50 cycles / 5 min rest from now on.

There isn’t any other way to get around the heat dissipation other than a major redesign.
