Hammer is shipping

The hammer was supposed to be the most powerful production air rifle at 700 ft lb. But the air force already beat that title with their 750 plus carbon fiber bottle and new valve. And now hatsan is releasing their 50 cal pile driver at 800 ft lb. So most have no interest in the hammer now. When you make the customers wait for long after you repeatedly said many time it was coming out. And then other companies already came up with a air rifle and surpass the hammer. It loses interest. They could of sold a lot if they released it few years ago. Now they probably sell a few if any.

I think very few people will be shooting the super heavy ammo needed to achieve those max power figures. 350gr range will likely be the go to ammo for faster flatter trajectory plus hollow points tend to be a better choice above 500fpe. At that point they appear to be even closer in power. Getting 3 consistent regulated shots with no tuning and being $400 or so lower in price and having a backup shot in the magazine alone helps keep the hammer at the top of the big bore game.

helps keep the hammer at the top of the big bore game.

A product cannot be at the top of a game it has not played in yet. The Hammer currently is a "Benched Player" who has never been seen playing in a game.

Prior appearances do not count since they were not the production model the buying public will (?) see when the gun is actually available to the retail market!

If its starting to ship, why was it not at the Shot Show, or was it?

When asked the rep said keep listening for an announcement in the next few days 😁 I think he was even afraid to commit a day.

After all the hip and hype I have to see to believe,

The specs was depending on their own branded and paired bullet so it's performance with other slugs is not known

I will believe it when I see "In Stock - Ready To Ship" on a dealers web site. Until then, I don't believe anything that Umerex says about it any more. When it does come out I want to see some reviews of what their final product turned out to be. What did they have to change, or what corners did they have to cut in their three year delay? They obviously could not produce the rifle they have been hyping to us for so long - so what exactly did it end up being?

Now now now! Just because they promished you the moon and all you got was uranus, doesnt mean they want to sell you the world.

What you/we will recieve is another thing entierly!

Lets see some real world reviews like the mrhollowpoint ones about the Texan .50 cal:
