Hajimoto Tip: Quick homemade splatter targets

When you are trying sight in a weapon and you need a target that gives clear bright feedback so you can adjust your sites or scope turrets to get zero'd in.
You can purchase the tape, paint, and paper from your local dollar store and have a 40" x 36" Splatter target for pennies and in minutes. The advantage of this system is that after shooting the target a few times, all you need to do is re spray the sheet with black and you can use it again.
I hope this video offers you some value.

You just made top billing on Birchwood Casey's hit list :p . I like it. For a easy center just lay down a small washer when spraying with the paint instead of the fingernail trick. For thin "Green" rings a section of 3 litter pop bottle could be cut and set on to mask the paint (several sections joined to mask a larger circle). A can of spray adhesive completes the "commercialization" of the home made product. I LIKE it especially since I am 80 miles one way from the stores that carry commercial reactive target products.

I have made my own splatter targets. If you have the time to make them, you might save a few pennies, and at least feel that you're not a rank consumerist! But the truth lies elsewhere.

You can buy these: https://www.amazon.com/Splatterburst-Targets-Bullseye-Reactive-Fluorescent/dp/B00C88T12K/ref=sr_1_13?s=hunting-fishing&ie=UTF8&qid=1502281211&sr=1-13&keywords=splatter%2Btargets&th=1&psc=1

You end up with 250 targets bulls (perfect for airguns) delivered to your door for under $30. You'd have a tough time buying the paint, card stock, and tape for that amount. And adding bulls is yet even more time consuming. Your choice perhaps, but not mine.

Hey Hajimoto. I made these targets. I just have to paint them when i get to my property/range. So far it cost me $9.00 for the items. The tape being most of it. Cant beat the cost!!

The big one is for the golf ball challenge and the rest will be used for sighting in. So far i made 15 smaller ones which could be cut in half and i haven't used half my supplies. Great idea. Thanks.
