HaHaHa, They are mocking me ;-)

If you don't know, I basically live out in the woods. Nice little lane and a half country road runs past the front of the house, but that is about it. Woods all around, hundreds of acres in the back, and thousands across the street.

So, a few days ago, I watch this big, fat Fox Squirrel come down the hill across the street (distances starting at @100 yards, down to @45 at the base of the bank), enter my yard, which is all open and flat, devoid of any kind of cover - carrying a Hickory nut. She wanders around the yard looking for just the right place, and winds up just 4 feet from the window I am looking out of, and buries the nut. While watching to make sure I don't move. Really?! This one obviously didn't get the memo on what a favorite target they are of mine! But, it is off season, and they probably have young I would rather let get bigger (So I can shoot them too) - so as long as they are not messing with my stuff, they get a pass...

So, this morning, I look out the window, and the same thing, she is scurrying around my yard, looking to bury another nut a few feet in front on the same window... and as I am watching, there is another one! Ahhhhhhhhh, they are trying to tempt me! Nice, Big foxies, I swear I can hear them laughing at me ;-)
