Had a great weekend shooting targets. (Hunting too) Had a visitor!

Had a chance to get upstate. ALONE. Was nice. I was shooting my .25 Condor SS and didn't even take out my TX 200. I was making new range cards because I just installed an adjustable top hat. It came with 4 inserts but I used the largest one due to the others reducing the FPS too much. The largest insert lowered the FPS about 75 to 100 FPS depending on the weight of the pellet. (Still about 55 FPE) Which is plenty for mixed shooting targets and small game. But i will take out the insert when I'm hunting larger critters with the solids i just ordered. Well, when I got up there my range was over grown. Had to mow and weed wack the extra 40 yards out to my deep targets. I had an eery feeling while weed wacking in the head high weeds/grass that someone was watching me. After finishing up, all the targets were set up. I made lots of reactive targets. A lot of old softballs and hardballs and lacrosse balls drilled out and hung up with thick paracord at ranges from 60 to 120 yards. I drilled out old stainless steel dog bowls and hung them out there too. Multiple spinning targets from 40 to 65 yards and a few homemade wood rabbits out at 100 and 110. I like reactive targets. The wind was howling all weekend and made precision shooting difficult. The rabbit pic was from about 110 yards. Which equated to a 4 mil dot hold over and about 2 to 2.5 mil dots for wind. I don't know how you guys shoot long distance so well. It is tough. My friend Dan, AKA, Dead Eye Dan came to visit with his springers. I met him on the yellow forum 11 years ago and started hunting red squirrels with him. He lives up there full time and knows the good spots. After a great day we had a beer and relaxed. When he was packing up i looked at my range and saw this big guy staring at me. Sorry the pic is blurry (Phone camera). He came right out from those weeds. Im guessing 250-300 pounds.
