GX CS2 Portable PCP Air Compressor?

Yes. I bought the oil lube unit from Flyjng. Dragon Air Rifles. I induced a problem with just a tiny but too much oil. After a few sleepless nights, got the problem sorted out.

It is easy to use. Follow the directions. It is not.super fast. It is nice to not need water and to have the mobile capability. My range does not have 120v. The YH stays home while the Xisico goes to play

Ask anything and I will try to answer.

EDIT.. I have the GS3...same pump with more sheet metal and jumper cables.

I just got mine yesterday from the brown truck and Amazon. I didn't try it until today, Sunday 4/18/21. I was amazed at how EASY it is to use. I had to double and triple check that I wasn't doing anything wrong. Seemed too easy...

I am so used to my Yong Heg and all the set up needed. This is ready to go right out of the box. Triple boxed, by the way. VERY good packaging.

It is a lot slower than the Yong Heng, but it is SO quiet and so lightweight. To me, having the Yong Heng and this is a great combo. Covers all bases needed. I used my big blue between the GX and my Hatsan just to be safe.

So far, it's everything I was hoping it would be. I see there is a big price variance online. I'm unclear as to if the least expensive model comes with the sine wave converter (110v out of the wall) or not. There are some that cost over $500 and some for under $250, so I went with the Amazon one for $369.99 had everything just to be safe.

I've been running a GX CS2 pump to fill SCBA tanks for over two years now.

The pump has been running great. I got a little too crafty and tried using the AC-DC converter to charge some deep-discharge batteries I had about the house. That was a bad idea, the AC-DC converter overheated and died.

I haven't been able to find an appropriate replacement AC-DC converter -- GX is sold-out of replacement parts and I think the pump needs a high amperage at "cold start" as similar AC-DC converters I've been able to find, don't have enough initial amperage to turn the motor over.

So I ordered a second GX CS2, as it includes the converter. If all the fear-mongering here is right and my pump dies, I'll have a backup.

edit: Shortly after, GX sent me an e-mail and notified me they do have stock for the AC->DC converter on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082NSVWJY/ref=emc_b_5_t?th=1

I have owned one since March and it has always run good. Just a cpl of opinion things. I am going to get one of the larger external filters for it. I’m not sure how much this will increase fill times but any compressor is going to produce water in any environment. Yes more in some than others but you can’t massively compress air anywhere on earth without producing water and the tiny filters provided don’t do enough in my opinion. The extra wear on the compressor and time is worth taking it away from an expensive gun. The next bit is the 4 year warranty. I didn’t do that. I think you end up spending 400 through Amazon. You can get the pump direct from GX for 130 dollars cheaper than that. Target forge has the parts and I’m pretty sure you can rebuild that little guy several times for 130. That’s assuming those Amazon warranties even work as smooth as they should.

I haven't timed it exactly but those filters seem to take about 1 min to pressurize.
